Xseed’s First PS2 Classic Is Gungrave: Overdose

Gungrave: Overdose came out this week as a PS2 Classic and the publisher behind the digital release is Xseed. That’s kind of interesting since Mastiff, which used to publish niche games like Gurumin and La Pucelle Tactics, originally localized Gungrave: Overdose. Hunting video games are Mastiff’s bread and butter these days.

Xseed worked with Red Entertainment to re-release Gungrave: Overdose. Hmm… I wonder if Xseed will be able to pick up Bujingai too. The post apocalyptic Wuxia game was one of my favorite PlayStation 2 games.

Xseed also published a bunch of PlayStation 2 games like Wild Arms 4 and Shadow Hearts: From the New World too. While Aruze got out of the video game business, I’d still like to see the original Shadow Hearts trilogy available as PS2 downloads.
