Yakuza 1 & 2 HD Edition will be available on November 1 for 5,290 yen ($67). Yakuza 5 is set for a release a month later.

The first game in the Yakuza series came out in Japan at the end of 2005. It’s also the only Yakuza game with Mark Hamill in it. Sega localized Yakuza with English voiceovers in 2006, but stuck with the Japanese cast and English subtitles starting with Yakuza 2.

Update: Yakuza 1 & 2 HD Edition will have faster loading times, item management in telephone boxes, and the game will check off different food you eat in the restaurant.

If you pre-order the game you’ll get a clear folder with the package art for Yakuza 1 and Yakuza 2 cover art plus "dummy packaging" for the PS3 box.
