During a recent NicoNico Live stream, Yakuza series creator and general director Toshihiro Nagoshi of Sega teased that he has an exciting new title to announce at this year’s Tokyo Game Show. [Thanks, Hachima.]

“I’m so anxious for Tokyo Game Show,” Nagoshi said in the live stream. “Although I’m not allowed to say why I’m feeling this way, yet.”

“We’ll announce [a new title] at Tokyo Game Show, and it’ll be a good one,” he continued. “And I believe that Sega’s live showing at Tokyo Game Show will be the most exciting one we’ve seen in a while.”

Sega did not reveal whether the title in question will be a new entry in the Yakuza series, or something else. Meanwhile, Yakuza 5 will release on PlayStation 3 later this year. You can check out the game’s creators discussing hostess clubs in our earlier report.
