Enemies

Gang-type Enemies

Gang-type enemies are vicious enemies who are evil in a different way compared to yakuza and regular thugs. While the first two levels of gang members use their fists, the tougher ones use guns to attack, which aren’t blockable. If you see them, prepare for a tough fight. They rank from weakest to strongest from Color Gang -> Mad Gang -> Gang Ace -> Gang Boss.

Soldier-type Enemies

These types of enemies use both close range and ranged attacks to attack you. The stronger ones can also use grenades, and fire their bowguns consecutively. The strongest version of this type of enemy, the Armynator, can use eye lasers to attack.

These enemies rank from Soldier Otaku -> One-Man Army -> Slashing Commando -> Armynator.

Delivery Help

Two new Delivery Help summons have been detailed – Kiyoe Shirakawa with her ‘Madonna’s Takeaway’ which heals MP, and the Idaten Dance which has a chance of inflicting the burn status on enemies.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon will be released on the PlayStation 4 in Japan on January 16, 2020, and in North America and Europe in 2020. You can check out the Host and Bodyguard job classes in our previous report here.
