Level-5 recently announced that the spinoff title Yo-kai Watch Busters is getting a sequel, and the company revealed the platform for the game is Nintendo 3DS.
According to the new website that Level-5 launched, Yo-kai Watch Busters 2 is a direct sequel to the 2015 action game spinoff. The game is set in “Karakuri Island” (Mechanical Island) where Jibanyan and buddies will look for the hidden treasure of the Pirate King. More information is expected to be announced later.
The original Yo-kai Watch Busters released exclusively in Japan as an expansion on the Oni-Busters game that was in Yo-kai Watch 2. In the game, four players work together as they face up against other Yo-kai and powerful Boss Yo-kai in beat ‘em up action style.
Yo-kai Watch Busters 2 releases in Japan in Winter 2017 for the Nintendo 3DS.
