At one time Nintendo kicked around the idea of releasing Mother, the original NES game, outside of Japan. Mother under the name Earthbound made a brief appearance in Nintendo Power, but never made it to stores. A few prototypes are floating around and one of those can be yours.

Well, if you have $3710.23 to spare. That’s the price an Earthbound Zero prototype is going for right now on eBay.

Pricey? Yes, but it’s a heck of a lot rarer than the gold Nintendo World Championship cartridges and those go for $15,000 or more.
