Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is playable on the show floor at TGS 2022, and as of today, it’s also playable on your PS5 or Xbox Series console. Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja announced that a limited-time playable Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty demo is now available on the PlayStation Network and Microsoft Store. There’s a catch, though: The demo is only accessible until September 26, 2022, giving you about ten days to give their Chinese history-themed action-RPG.

The Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty demo tutorial covers general mechanics, character creation, and the selection of a player’s “Phase”, an elemental attribute that corresponds to your preferred playstyle. Phase selection can determine your starting stats, magical abilities, and initial equipment. Players can level up their characters at banners, which function as safe points to regroup and mark progress. The tutorial video also covers tips and tricks, emphasizing techniques like deflecting attacks, stealth strikes, and weapon types like the straight saber and glaive.
Wo Long is set in a fictionalized version of Three Kingdoms-era China. The land has been overrun by demonic corruption, and you play a warrior fighting to survive and defeat those behind the infestation. It’s coming to PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC in 2023. The demo is live now, and will be accessible until September 26, 2022.
