As a reminder, this will be the final beta for the game. While the official launch date is April 18, 2024, people in North America can actually start playing a little earlier. It will be available at 7pm PT/9pm CT/10pm Et on April 17, 2024 in the region. In other parts of the world, that is 4am CET/11am JST on April 18, 2024.

HoYoVerse also noted that Test Qualification is limited to one device, even though you’re using your HoYoVerse ID to log into it. So someone could play on one PC and one Android device and be fine. But if they tried to log in on a second, different Android device, the system will automatically ban that player.

As for the new stuff, HoYoVerse explained that the new Zenless Zone Zero content for the Amplifying Test involve a faction, a map, and a story chapter. The new group is called Sons of Calydon, and we’ll see new characters affiliated with them in the game. Section 6’s Miyabi Hoshimi and Soukaku will get a new teammate, with a profile block saying “coming soon” on the official site. The announcement also mentioned there will be more people tied to New Eridu Public Security, which currently only involves the Criminal Investigation Special Response Team member Zhu Yuan. We’ll see Zhu Yuan in Chapter 2.5, which is also going to be on the way, and Chapter 3 was teased too.

Zenless Zone Zero will come to the PS5, PC, and mobile devices. There’s no release date for it yet. The PC Amplifying Test begins on April 18, 2024 for PCs and mobile devices, and the PS5 one starts on April 25, 2024.
