Raine and Chester in Tales of World: Raidant Mythology

By Spencer . September 6, 2006 . 8:08am

Tales of World: Raidant Mythology is an original Tales game for the PSP with a bunch of characters from previous Tales of games. Newly reveled characters include Raine (Rifiru) Sage and Lloyd Irving from Tales of Symphonia plus Chester Barklight from Tales of Phantasia.

Raine (Rifiru) Sage

A magic wielding half-elf who was Lloyd’s teacher in Tales of Symphonia. Raine is known for being an intellectual and she loves exploring lost ruins. With her abundant knowledge in the healing arts Raine can keep “refilling” the party’s HP.

Lloyd Irving

The idealistic hero from Tales of Symphonia believes in protecting his friends at all costs. Abandoned as a child, Lloyd was raised by Dirk the dwarf, a blacksmith who taught Lloyd two wield dual blades. While he cannot use magic, Lloyd’s swordsmanship makes him a good frontline fighter. Fans of the first game look closely at the swords he is using in the picture. Notice anything?

Chester Barklight

From the Tales of Phantasia universe is Chester Barklight, a young and stubborn hunter. Chester is not meant for head on combat, he is best suited in the back row where he can take his time to snipe out monsters with his bow.
