While Idea Factory’s attempt at a fighting game was glossed over by North American publishers it is heading to Europe care of Midas Interactive. Spectral vs. Generation takes characters from Idea Factory’s two main SRPG series, Spectral Souls and Generation of Chaos as the fighters you can select. What is awkward about the release is Europe hasn’t seen any of the Spectral Souls or Generation of Chaos titles that NIS America has been localizing for the PSP. If you’ve been waiting for an English version of the 2D fighter you can import it from Europe on April 5th. In related RPG news from Europe Ghostlight who published Digital Devil Saga is planning to release Shadow Hearts: From the New World this May.
According to Gamefaqs Ghostlight will be indeed releasing the PS2 version in may, it’s however not listed on the offical website.

The PS2 version has appeared on ratings sites as well, so they’re probably releasing that. And who knows, maybe it’s a precursor to the release of the Spectral and Generation games through their subsidiary Ghostlight..maybe.
[also, Midas previously released Neverland Battle Zero or whatever it was called, the action game by XPEC, as “Realm of the Dead”]
