There are some differences, but the box art for Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions uses the awesome concept art from the Japanese release. I think the USA box art looks a little better too. It doesn’t cut the top off Orlandu’s head and it is centered. Kudos go to Square-Enix for keeping the same packaging for North America. I wonder if they are going to keep the double sided manual too…
Kewl. What’s your source, btw, Spencer? Because you could probably photochop the same box art in like 20 mins lol.
I think that in Japan the logos belong in the bottom for the same reason that japanese books begin to be readed from the “end”.
The two boxes are great, i like more the usa one because it doesn’t have the white space in the bottom =]

I think a lot of retailers are putting this box art up now. Here’s a link back to Gamefly’s page with it and Amazon’s.
well, i’ll be. the american box art uses the same imagery, and even looks a little better.
Because of this, Brave Story, and Castlevania X I’m buying a PSP for the THIRD time. I guess I should keep it this time…
Sweet, this is just too good an illustration to beat. And poor Blue Dragon got the short end of the stick…
Love it! See more of the characters I like on the bottom. If only Algus wasn’t there…
I wonder why they put the Ivalice Allience on there?

very, very sweet. general question about japanese box art… why do they insist on putting the logos at the bottom instead of on top, which is where it logically belongs? (IE: easier to spot when flipping through DVDs) Most 1-to-1 box art conversions almost always include shifting around the logo because of that.
