Now on the Japanese PlayStation Store is Toy Home 2nd Gear, an expansion pack for Toy Home. For an extra 500 yen ($4.60) you get a split screen mode for three or four players, six additional cars, two more tracks and a free run tour mode.

Coming next week is Dark Mist: The Depths of Darkness, an expansion for the charming labyrinth/shmup Dark Mist. Three additional characters, twelve stages and a multiplayer mode are part of the package. Like Toy Home 2nd Gear, Dark Mist: The Depths of Darkness also costs 500 yen ($4.60).

In Japan, both of these games are priced at 800 yen ($7.40), which means the expansion pack is a little more than 60% of the initial cost of the game. No word on when Sony plans to release Toy Home 2nd Gear in North America, but it seems likely considering Toy Home is on the North American PlayStation Store.
