If Sega passes on this does that leave the license open for someone else to come in and take it?

@Chris Dahlberg - Sure thing. Agetec was releasing Armored Core games for years before Sega took a chance with Armored Core 4.

Of course, I just wasn’t sure if Sega had gotten any exclusivity over the license, as sometimes companies can do that to prevent another company from taking over again.

I wish Agetec would pick it back up but as we’ve seen from their last couple announcements, they’re mostly handheld oriented with a few PS2 releases here and there right now.

Dude the demo for acfa just came out yesterday..and more than likely there will be a demo for the xbox (its just they always seem to get it later), i dont like from would be risking sales when there trying to sell a product and if my info is correct more than a million xbox consoles have been sold in japan of this year (they cant ignore that). Sega has not yet announced plans for acfa (i emailed them) but its weird as they replyed (there is no official info for the release date for this game yet, sega will be the first one to annnounce-thank you)
