EA, Q Entertainment, and Grasshopper Manufacture team up for a new IP imagesElectronic Arts just announced “punk” development studio Grasshopper Manufacture will be working with Electronic Arts on a brand new action horror game. Shinji Mikami, the creator of Resident Evil, will be acting as the producer and Suda51 from Grasshopper Manufacture will be acting as the designer. The unnamed title is being developed for the PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii. The press release also states Q Entertainment will be working on the game too, but their involvement in regards to the production has not been announced.

An international partnership with some of Japan’s most recognizable independent talent with Electronic Art is unprecedented. I’m excited to see what they are working on.

EA really has changed this gen, for the better. Probably the greatest 3rd party dev.

While I´m interested, I personally don´t like the idea of EA working with Grasshopper or Mikami...at all...

I´m also curious to know which approach will they take with the Wii version, compared to the others...

Wow, finally a game that is on all 3 consoles. I hope this becomes a trend, because it doesn't seem Wii is getting much love. (Or many good games, tbh).
