Capcom Europe Publishing Fate/Unlimited Codes

image Oh, it looks like Fate/Unlimited Codes will see a release overseas. Germany’s USK board leaks the announcement by rating the PSP version.

Fate/Unlimited Codes Portable revises the arcade game with new costumes from Fate/hollow Atraxia, a simplified command system, and a reflect dash move. The playable character list includes: Saber, Shiro, Archer, Rin, Lancer, Rider, Berserker, Assassin, Gilgamesh, Caster, Kirei, Sakura, and Luviagelita.

While this rating is only for Europe we have a sneaking suspicion that Fate/Unlimited Codes will get a worldwide release. Even if it doesn’t you can always import an English version from Europe.

  • Pretty hot. Not a fan of the series, but I know a lot of people were hoping for this to happen.

  • Fonic

Still iffy on this personally. The PS2 version is fun but I’m not sure how well it would translate to the PSP. Fighting games seem to be very hit and miss on it. Still, nice to see a Fate game come outside Japan.

Fate/Stay Night is one of my favourite animes of all time.

It looks like I’ll have to get a PSP and unleash Unlimited Blade Works on my enemies!

  • Traveler

Not a single new character? That’s disappointing. This game is fun, but the combo system is silly and it makes playing it seriously just a bad idea.

That’s pretty damn awesome. Though, I’m not too keen on the mechanics. Very tough for me to do those constant juggles.

Found the anime to be boring as hell and unconvincing but if this is a solid fighting game it could be interesting!
