Namco Confirms And Dates Tekken 6 Arcade Stick Bundle

By Spencer . June 22, 2009 . 2:19pm

The Tekken 6 arcade stick bundle we discovered early is real. Namco Bandai sent out images of a Tekken 6 box next to a wireless Hori arcade stick and an art book. Each arcade stick bundle will retail for $149.99.

Pre-order the package at Gamestop to get a Tekken 6 calendar and a code for a costume pack which includes 40 samurai banners and a Cardboard Tube outfit for Yoshimitsu. The DLC is mentioned as a “Gamestop exclusive”, but it might be distributed on Xbox Live and the PlayStation Store in the future. It took awhile, but the Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Hokage codes are online now.

Tekken 6 is scheduled to come out on October 27 in North America and the announcement indicates we’re getting the game first. Europe, Japan, and Asia will see a release “follow shortly thereafter”.

  • Day one.

  • Hopefully this stick will be better than Hori’s current generation of slim arcade sticks. The PS3 FS3 and the 360 EX2 are the undisputed WORST sticks that Hori has ever made; and putting Soulcalibur stickers on them didn’t make them any better.

i respectfully disagree. i quite like my ex2. somehow the ex2 feels better than the fs3. i haven’t been able to figure that out. hori has made worse sticks.

Don’t you mean more like…buy a Hori Arcade Stick, and get a bonus copy of Tekken 6?
