You’re Not Alone In Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker

By Spencer . August 19, 2009 . 8:12am

A key feature in Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker is cooperative play. A shakycam video shows multiple “Snakes” infiltrating a base. The demonstration shows players sharing a cardboard box as a hiding spot and assaulting a base in team formation.

There are other surprises, but you’ll want to see them rather than read about them. Konami plans to release Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker next year.

Im just wondering how the fuck are they going to explain having another giant-modern like-evil organization (in the 70’s!!) this time if they already used the “we stole from US and the Soviets” excuse…..probably gonna be that again.

    Tank-box looks cool though.

Kojima! You can’t do that! The future will be changed! You’ll create a time paradox!!

lol, that was so annoying,I wanted to blast that goddamn Ocelot from the face of the Earth on MGS3.

I actually shot him to see what happens XD

I hope there aren’t parts of the game where they force you to use multiplayer. I don’t care about any multiplayer stuff in the game. I just want to see what happens to Big Boss.

Is the multiplayer online or local? or both?

  • Either way, this game is what having a Sony portable will be all about. MGS FTW!

Not particularly interested in multiplayer in my MGS games. They’ll always remain a single player experience for me.

But the music in the trailer is quite good and I love the screen of Box-Snake chasing after tank-box-snake. And, oh Kojima. Love Pack? I have to admit, your sense of humor gets me every time, as twisted as it is.

I’m worried the single player mode would suffer and wouldn’t hold up if they concentrate so much on co-op (like I heard Blood of Bahamut is almost impossible to play by oneself). What’s w/ the multiple Big bosses anyway, they’re all clones?

I’m curious how well received was Metal Gear Online, I didn’t even touch the multiplayer game on MGS4.
