  • Lets see I have Riviera on UMD already so I’ll go with Crimson and Yggdra Union to be ready for Yggdra Unison for DS.

    • Nabeshin

Are you reading my mind?? Those are the games I wanted! O.O

  • Kris

Hmmm, both CGS and Riviera sound pretty good. Armored Core 3 portable is also a pleasant surprise!

  • JeremyR

Also 2 minis for PSP – Vempire and Mahjong Artifacts 2

It’s funny (but not surprising) how Sony tried to make a big deal out of this program (the minis), but has pretty much completely dropped the ball with it (7 for the first week of the program, then none the next two weeks, finally have 2 more, but can’t bother to mention them).

Anyway, nice to see Atlus following with nice pricing on their older games. Part of the trouble with DD is having high prices for too long (cough, Sony’s stuff, $16 for Lemmings?)

  • Ereek

If you didn’t buy the physical copy of Half-Minute Hero, for the love of god buy it digitally. It’s amazing.

  • Volcynika

Was looking for cheapest way to get Yggdra, nice to see Sony provided a great option! Got it as soon as I saw it last night. Still wondering about Half Minute Hero though…

  • maxchain

So Riviera finally found a place where you can safely buy it for all eternity, huh? Well, guess I can seal my GBA copy away in my private vault!

  • Soma

Nice! Steambot Chronicles Battle Tournament is only $29.99?
Every where I go I find the UMD for $44.99 which is way more than I’m willing to pay for it. $29.99 seems more appealing.

  • neo_firenze

Half Minute Hero is actually $39.99 on PSN in the US, not $29.99 as stated in the post.

Agreed with Somato though, I jumped all over Steambot Chronicles because the $29.99 is a better price than I’ve ever seen for the UMD version.

Snagged AC3 too, I’m good with paying $15. I’m hoping that we continue to see the other AC PSP re-releases at this price point too. I’d buy Silent Line and Last Raven too.

    • Ereek

That was a mistake. They lowered the price down to$ 29.99 again.

      • neo_firenze

Ah cool – nice to know, that high price point was turning me off when I checked shortly after the US store was updated yesterday…

  • neo_firenze

Oh, and a double post to specifically call out Hammerin’ Hero as a GREAT game. If you missed out and can’t track down a cheaper UMD (or don’t want UMDs), it’s definitely one to look for.

I liked it better than the other more hyped PSP side-scroller released around the same time – Prinny.

  • Nabe

Steambot Chronicles PSP is a great game, but i’d recommend it only to the fans who are starving for another Steambot game. Gameplay clocks in at around 6 hours only, boo!

I hope Irem is still working on that Steambot Chronicles 2 for PS3…

  • Good prices for the Dept. Heaven games, I already have the GBA versions though but they deserve a playthrough if you want something unorthodox.

I also want Steambot Chronicles PSP, Crimson Gem Saga and Half Minute Hero.

  • Advent_Andaryu

Half-minute Hero for $30? I’m sorry, but almost every PSP game I’ve seen recently is over priced. Sure, they cost even more in stores, but DL games for PSP is definitely the future…

As much as I love Hero 30, it seems like a budget title. Same for other games that they (Atlus, etc) have ported a hundred times… Why not make all games 10-15, and NEW games 30-40. Now that seems logical for a hand held…

  • Saturnus

Quick, possible dumb, question: Downloaded games work on the regular PSPs right, not only the PSPGo?

    • Advent_Andaryu

Yes they work on any form of PSP! You can download them through the PSP’s PSN, or the PS3’s PSN.
