Maybe This List Of Possible PSN NeoGeo Classics Will Get Your Attention

imageDownloadable versions of League Bowling and Super Sidekicks might not be that exciting. How about Metal Slug and Samurai Shodown instead?

The King of Fighters ‘94, Art of Fighting, Samurai Shodown, Metal Slug, Fatal Fury, and Magician Lord have also been re-rated by the ESRB as PlayStation 3 and PSP games. Why “re-rated”? SNK already released these for Wii as Virtual Console titles.

Seems like the same ROMs are coming to PlayStation Network as downloadable NeoGeo Classics.

Thanks for the tip Robbie!

Sounds cool for a start, but I really want the Turbo-Grafx games up too. Alien Crush, Bonk, and Adventure Island must be on my PSP.

With all the different ports of Metal Slug out there, I wonder, which one should I get?

there is a metal slug compilation.

I was checking the PSN and didn’t they already released those games thru Snk Arcade Classics Vol. 1, it has all those games minus Magic Lord.

As many different ways as you can get these early entries in SNK’s different lines, it does make one wonder why they are not doing titles that are less available. All of these games are available on the PS2 so people like me with the old 60 gig don’t even really have a reason. How about Metal Slug X or Samurai Showdown 3? Maybe Fatal Fury Real Bout?

Perhaps it should be noted that people with the 60Gb are a relatively small percentage. Sales of the PS3 jumped up with the 40Gb model and again with the Slim.

      • I don’t know if the sales so much jumped up as Sony just discontinued the superior models and lowered the price… I personally would never buy a PS3 other than the 60gb model… as for all these SNK games coming to PSN, I guess to the people that can’t get them elsewhere it is cool… but it is much cheaper to get these games in their compilation packages on Wii, PS2 & PSP.

I’ve been rocking my Metal Slug Anthology PSP game all week because of SNK’s 20th. :)
