God Eater was a warm up. Later this year, Namco Bandai will apply the Monster Hunter formula to the Naruto license.

That’s the basic premise of Naruto Shippuden: Kizuna Drive, an upcoming PSP game where “four man cells” comprised of Naruto characters fight together. Namco Bandai’s game looks more action packed with kizuna moves (aka chakra powered team attacks). Here’s a look at one of them.

I’m still waiting for the day when I understand why anime like Naruto is popular. Maybe I’m just too old to be interested in this kind of thing…

    • how old are you?, if you were a fan of dragonball back in the days, that is what most ppl feel about it, even though naruto and dragonball arent alike at all, naruto have more cool technices and stuff, while dragonball is more HIT HIT HIT WOHOOOO !!!

Most people (who post on the internet anyway) are fans of the Manga, which is usually good and when not, trolls you to the point of laughter. The Anime is is usually mediocre.

    This is getting ridiculous…

If the last few Naruto games of this style weren’t any good, why would this one be?

  • Tell me when someone makes a Monster Hunter style game based on Karas.

I like it! It brings back the root of Naruto, which is to do mission with a 4 man team.

  • ShinNoKami

I dunno… I kinda like the idea myself. Hmm.. might actually be a reason for me to touch a Naruto game.
