God Of War: Ghost Of Sparta Brings Kratos Back To PSP

By Spencer . May 4, 2010 . 6:32am

Ready at Dawn and Sony Santa Monica Studios developing are another quest for the Spartan warrior. God of War: Ghost of Sparta picks up after the events of the first God of War game and tells how Kratos rose to power as the God of War. In a journey to rid himself from tormenting nightmares, Kratos enters lost worlds armed with the Blades of Chaos. Sony says God of War: Ghost of Sparta will “finally answer long-awaited questions about his dark past.”

Kratos will crush plenty of mythological monsters and armies of undead soldiers on his newest quest. The development team promise a greater number of on screen enemies and boss encounters, presumably compared to God of War: Chains of Olympus. Ready At Dawn are also granting Kratos new magical powers, weapons, and navigational abilities.

God of War: Ghost of Sparta is scheduled for release this year and those are screenshots of the game below.

I never really play God Of War games, but the graphics look amazing for a Psp game!

  • the other god of sparta for psp looked great, but lol they are really milking everything out of god of war uh?

    • thebanditking

I disagree, talk to me about “milking” when Kratos get his own Monopoly or Risk board game.

  • Hardcore LOLZ. So much for that “We’re officially done with PSP development! End of an era!” business back in June 2008. Wonder how much it cost to ship all those devkits back?

Will get since I have played all the others…

The second best game on PSP gets a sequel (my fav is still Crisis Core)? This is going to be awesome and with Ready at Dawn back at the helm this is a sure fire success.
