imageTarot cards play a more prominent role in Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together. New details from this week’s issue of Famitsu explain Akihiko Yoshida’s cards play a role in character creation. Players can earn tarot cards by defeating enemies, which can be used to create characters.

In Japan, Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together sports the subtitle Wheel of Fortune. This refers to a new system, which lets players jump around the story. You can see alternate routes like what happens if, for example, you don’t save a unit.

Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together comes out on November 11 in Japan.

Ummm, I’m pretty sure you could earn tarot cards and use them for characters in the SNES original too.

In the original Tactics Ogre, enemies either dropped a piece of equipment or the card. Picking it up slightly raised one of the stats. There weren’t any other types of a card, Tarot or whatnot.
