Incoming Wave Of NIS America Announcements

While responding to a fan comment on the PlayStation Blog, Marketing Coordinator Nao Zook mentioned another batch of NIS America announcements are coming.

 

“I am not sure if we will have another party this winter, but I can tell you now that we will announce a couple of awesome titles soon,” Zook teased.

 

NIS America’s list of summer announcements were: ClaDun, Ar Tonelico Qoga, and Z.H.P.: Unlosing Ranger Vs. Darkdeath Evilman. I wonder what NISA is working on now… I’d bet a Rorona baked pie one of the games is Prinny 2: Dawn of the Great Pantsu War. I just can’t imagine the passing on releasing the sequel here.

 

Anyone else have a guess?

    Disgaea 4 for simultaneous release with Japan in 2010. That announcement would truly be the most Awesome announcement!

      That would be very cool. I’m still hoping for La Pucelle: Ragnarok, myself.

      Although I’ll take Prinny 2. The original’s probably my favorite N1 game. It’s just that it’d be easier to play in Japanese than an SRPG like La Pucelle or Antiphona.

    Probably Neptune. Disgaea 4 isn’t even out in Japan yet, so we won’t see a localization for a long time.

    They signed a contract with Namco Bandai and will be handling the release of the Tales of games in the west.

    Wohooo! NISA is on a roll!, they even announced some new animes (PANDORA’S HEARTS zoMg) go NISA go!, expand!!

    neptune looks really, really, really, really bad. the idea of the game was cool, but the developer (compile heart) is not. i won’t be fooled by compile heart again!

      Neptune is actually a fine title with many entertaining moments, its main problem (the combats get repetitive in the last part of the game) is shared with countless other jrpgs.

      It’s sad to see it hated simply because it’s a Compile Heart game, especially since Trinity Universe itself wasn’t half bad and did the crossover thing in the right way (aka: humour, fanservice and light-heartedness and no idiotic, long-winded plots like some other crossover jrpgs a la Kingdom Hearts).
