Soooo much better than that fail that was Twinkle Queen on the Wii…

  • Maybe it’s just me, but those backgrounds look seriously lacking…

    • If you’re looking for great backgrounds, maybe fighting games aren’t for you, lol. I don’t even know many that pay attention to those unless the background is really bright and distracts you during a tournament or something. These backgrounds remind me a lot of Melty Blood, which certainly isn’t a bad thing.

However, like most people..I’ll be focusing on the fight itself, not what’s going on in the background :P

Honestly, having played it at my local arcade (UFO) a few times, I feel it’s the sprites’ animations that look seriously lacking for me. Too much flash and post-processing, not enough fluid characters.

  • Aksys, I’m importing this.

Give me a reason not to.

    • umm Cuz its All In Japanese and u Wont understand a Thing ? 0_0 , u could wait for it to get localized Plus there All Loli’s in this one XD .

Looks like Vanguard Princess from an earlier trailer…which is sad since Vanguard Princess is free.

    • Sooo..all 2D fighting games consisting of girls must look like Vanguard Princess? I wonder if you said the same about the horribly clunky game, “Twinkle Queen” also. Oh, and this looks nothing like Vanguard Princess by the way.

Yea…I didn’t say that. I said THIS games looks like Vanguard Princess and no I didn’t say Twinkle Queen looked like Vanguard Princess. Chill dude.

        • I know what you said, lol. Don’t treat me like an idiot. Once again though, this does not look like Vanguard Princess.

Might as well be saying Melty Blood and BlazBlue look the same too. Pfft. Get your eyesight checked, please.

Disregarding how it plays, Vanguard Princess’s sprites and animation are definitely better than that of this game’s.

Regarding how it plays, this more like Melty Blood and Vanguard Princess is more like Street Fighter.

Hmm. That’s not cool since I really didn’t like Melty Blood. Thanks for letting me know.

  • I was a little disappointed when watching the stream and I heard the Arc System Works booth girl (ironically enough, cosplaying as Saki from AH) say the release date was 1/13/11. I thought about it for a moment then realized maybe it wasn’t such a bad thing though since now I will have enough time to play Tales of Graces F in December and won’t have to worry about juggling both of these great games, heh.

Oh and the lolibars are awesome :3. Nice console touch there.

But you should wait till Bandai Namco releases Tales of Graces to the U.S. so you can play it in English!

      ….oh wait….
