rar, wow count me in if this heads in North America! Looks very crisp and interesting!

  • landlock

Really needs to come over to NA at least. There aren’t enough of this sorts of game.

  • Yusaku_Matsuda70s

That’s what I love about this site. It cares to report on things I care about, things few other game blogs care to report on. Disaster Report 4 is looking more fun the more I see it! Also agree that it needs to make it over here.

I like that slightly cel-shaded look to the Characters. Also, reminds me of Tokyo Magnitude 8.0. Excellent anime.

    • MisterNiwa

I agree Aokiji. This Anime was so good, most friends of mine didn’t really care about it. I don’t even know why. :I

      • Yusaku_Matsuda70s

It’s because there are no moe, fantasy-sci-fi, mecha, violent action or shonen romance elements in it. It’s survival drama. That stuff just doesn’t sell, or at least doesn’t have what most people expect when they watch anime. Too bad.

Hope people are more open minded about this game.

        • MisterNiwa

Well, I thought I was boring at first. But I guess you are right.

  • symytry

It certainly won’t be winning any graphical awards, but as long as the game plays great that doesn’t make a difference to me. Unfortunately the lack of any HD elements in the shader work will pose a serious challenge for the marketing team, should this game be localized.

    • Yusaku_Matsuda70s

Hey we’ll always have Atlus, Xseed, and Aksys games. I don’t think HD is much of a problem for niche audiences.

      • SeventhEvening

I agree with that. I was actually thinking of how good the game looked in the graphical department compared to the other games in the series.

  • SeventhEvening

I would really love to see this come stateside. But I’m just happy the PS3 has no region code. The first two Disaster Reports were very underrated titles. They’re among my favorite PS2 games.

    • landlock

I’m gonna import it from Japan if it doesn’t get a US release because it’s should be playable in Japanese. Though I’m gonna try the PSP one first.

  • Bruce

i though they stoped making them because of low sales … still the third one was never released outside of japan , so this one may get the same treatment
