  • I regret trading in Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction. Ive been meaning to go through and finish up the series but I never played the first one, and I have the Ratchet & Clank Future: Quest for Booty. Ratchet & Clank Future: Crack in Time seemed like it was a phenomenal game. Ill have to keep my eye on the deals and hope that Tools of Destruction also goes on sale online.

Black Friday is such an awesome time in the year…I wonder if stores will be open on Thanksgiving evening again…

    • Toys R Us is. Their Black Friday sale starts at (I think) 10pm on Thanksgiving and then the store stays open all night until (I think) 10pm on Friday.

      • 10pm is good, I guess it gives people plenty of time to recover from the ‘itis and then to hurry and line up in front of their stores. I think here last year, Best Buy did it that late too. I dont want to brave the cold :( (though I heard some stores pass out hot chocolate and cookies to those who wait in line)

  • BelmontHeir

Hmm, I have pretty much all of those games (inFamous, God of War Collection, Killzone 2) so I suppose there’s no real need to brave the crowds for that. If they had Transformers: War For Cybertron and Toy Story 3 on sale for PS3 instead of 360/Wii, I might have jumped.

  • MemeticRichard

*PLEASE* tell me this applies to the online store as well… T_T

I don’t wanna have to deal with the Walmart here… Scary black people trying to destroy you, if they haven’t already done so in the parking lot…

    • thats kind of rude…

      • MemeticRichard

You can only say that cause you don’t live here. It’s true.

        • PersonaBull

Yea, there’s an absolutely destroyed Walmart by my house, too. Same exact reason. Customer service is terrible. Stocked items are worthless wastes of space.

Luckily, a nice new and larger Walmart just opened up last week around the corner from my house close enough that I could walk there.

          $10 for inFamous? You bet.

      Did someone call me?

    • SolidusSnake

I stopped going to Wal-mart a few weeks ago… I made the mistake of going on a Saturday evening, and they had only two registers open, with both lines stretched about to the store entrance. I started asking an employee why they only had two registers open, and some huge black man literally came up and started screaming in my face for no apparent reason. I don’t understand why their customer service has to be so horrid… back when I shopped there I would spend about 10 minutes shopping and 30-40 waiting in line to check out.

      • In high school, I used to go after midnight and I used to hate that. I have no clue why they have so few registers open so late at night (plus everybody and their grandma shops after midnight), they even close the auto checkout. I used to get silently heated at spending so much time waiting to checkout.

Though I havent seen any mean people or what not there…but I wont mention the types of things people wear to walmart…

I’m pretty sure TVTropes has a page that relates to /smh worthy comment.

Maybe you should head to the Wal-Mart site and check if it mentions anything about this, hm?

  • Yes! inFamous will be mine! I’m sure my local library will appreciate that, since I’d been taking it out once a month, sometimes more. XD

    • Yusaku_Matsuda70s

Your local library has PS3 games?! Lucky bastard you! I want to go to your library…

      • Yup – PS3, PS2, Xbox 360 and Wii. Not a super awesome selection, but still really good. Another neighboring library has better ones – when I was searching the library I know one nearby (maybe Park Ridge) had Fallout New Vegas.

        • Joanna

My library too! I was so shocked when I first noticed. They recently created the gaming section so there are only PS3, Xbox360, and Wii games and the selection is pretty small. But it’s still something!

I’ve been considering loaning out White Knight Chronicles…

          • My library has that game too! I had it once. It was okay, but it was back when I first got my PS3 in August so I was distracted by other games.

I heard it has a multiplayer aspect, which kinda intrigued me. But I didn’t get far enough to try it and now my only friend who had the game isn’t on as much.

          • Joanna

            I’ve heard so many mixed things about WKC, so I thought it would be good to try it myself before committing. Only reason I haven’t already done so is because my backlog. ^^;;;

  • Ungh, damn I want inFamous but I know they have the worthless Greatest Hits edition there.

    • Yusaku_Matsuda70s

Worthless as in you don’t want the eye-sore maroon red “Greatest Hits” label in your collection? Because I sure don’t.

  • MrRobbyM

I sold Infamous quite a while ago because I needed the money. Thank gawd for black Friday.
