Hhnnngghhh! I love Wizardry! Why must they taunt me so!?

  • Ereek

Excellent news. I plan on importing it, but it would be nice if someone would localize it for western audiences as well. Perhaps there are some licensing issues?

Probably more like nobody bought the last Wizardry title on PS2, lo those many years ago.

      • Ereek

Well, I was trying to be optimistic.

I applaud your efforts and I hope you are correct, but…:(

The thing is THAT Wizardry game looks 10,000 times better than this game.Hell, even the two DS Wizardry games look better. This is a really lazily developed game imo for the PS3. Lazier than even Last Rebellion.

I think it’s this lazy approach that hasn’t won any U.S. publishers over. Way of the Samurai & Badman have at least some sort of appeal to them which is why they make it across.

I couldn’t care less what it looks like. It’s a ****ing Wizardry game.

            (but I get your point)

Just wondering, how much do these two games cost on the PSN?

  • PrinceHeir

is this a new game or just port?

this game kinda reminded me of King’s Field.

I loved Wizardry back in the day! Did Acquire buy the Wizardry IP from Sir-Tech? I hope Aksys, Atlus, UFO … someone picks this double pack up for a stateside release!

Wizardry PS2 was fantastic. It’s a criminal shame that no one bought it. Localize this, give it another chance.

*takes a moment to look at his copy of Wizardry*

      Huh…

      • cj_iwakura

In the grand scheme of things. :P It’s not even rare, just niche. I see it dirt cheap quite often.

Only Wizardry I’ve really gotten into was Wizardry 5 Heart of Maelstrom. My characters could walk through pretty much anything. I even cross classed all my magic users to be able to cast all magic spells. Unfortunately I’ve never finished the game because once I got to a certain area I couldn’t find where to go. Hours of searching at the last place I’ve been to, who had a lot of magic users that cast last level spells. I got bored of searching.
