First Rush Of Screens From Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Impact

Namco Bandai is preparing yet another Naruto game for PSP. Instead of the four-man cell focus from Naruto Shippuden: Kizuna Drive, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Impact piles the screen with dozens of ninja for Naruto to crush. The first screenshots of the game show Naruto in Sage mode locked in a battle with Pain.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Impact supports up to two players for ad-hoc play, but Namco Bandai has not outlined the multiplayer mode. The game is slated for release in Japan this fall under the name Naruto Shippuden: Narultimate Impact. While an international release has not been announced, Namco Bandai filed a trademark for Ultimate Ninja Impact in the U.S. and Europe. On top of being a Naruto title, that’s a pretty good sign that we’ll see Ultimate Ninja Impact outside of Japan.

Game looks amazing. And somehow, its still looking better graphics-wise compared to the 3ds game.

Actually Spencar, Narutimate Impact in truth, is being developed by Cyberconnect2 not Namco Bandai. (Thank God)

Here’s the official website of the game:
You can see CC2’s logo at the bottom of the site.

If that isn’t enough, then here’s Cyberconnect2’s main page which also has Narutimate Impact listed as one of the games they are developing.

so the last 2 ultimate ninja games , despite good graphics, where horribly unbalanced(storm 2) or stuff was removed (combos, depth) making its even far more shallow(accel3/heroes3) so they just chose totally to make their fighting series into a dynasty warriors style game and focus on graphics. yup. think im done with ultimate ninja. still got GNT/clash of ninja thankfully.

    • Shinsu Yokoshimi

Horrible in terms of Awakening Balance then sure. However it did still have depth and combos due to the Advance Support System and with some Characters having two jutsu and certain Awakenings.

Also, saying that CC2 is making their fighting series into a dynasty warriors style game and focus on the graphics without even experiencing the product itself since its not out yet. Also not knowing completely if they are going to change their WHOLE series into a dynasty warriors style due to the lack of proof just adds on more. A poorly crafted statement.

GNT won’t last much longer anyway, especially from the sells of SP within Japan. Clash can still survive somewhat through the U.S and Europe. But the last game wasn’t much of a hard hit. But you still have them. So to each his own.

Well in fairness what other game could it be other then a Dynasty Warriors esque game?

The sentence “Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Impact piles the screen with dozens of ninja for Naruto to crush.” plus the very first screenshot itself leads to the fact it will be a Dynasty Warriors kind of game, just like Naruto Shippuden: Kizuna Drive was.

        • Shinsu Yokoshimi

On multiple websites, its been said over and over that due to multiple ninjas surrounding you trying to kill on the battlefield that it has a Dynasty Warrior like feel, only due to that one thing. Not as a whole since they don’t know how the complete product will turn out. The first screenshot itself doesn’t make it a fact that the entire game will be a Dynasty Warriors kind of game now does it? A product that hasn’t been released and we have little details of the overall core and nature of the game and what it has to offer.

Accel 1 and 2 had multiple bandit ninja trying to kill you during the story as you traveled, does that make those games a Dynasty Warriors kind of game?

Has it ever came across to some people that developers can take a few pages from other games and place it into their own?

          • Gabriel May

“Has it ever came across to some people that developers can take a few pages from other games and place it into their own? ”

There’s nothing wrong with that. I’m one who would take fun over originality. Also I’m only saying it’s likely to be like that not that it is fact. When more details come out then we will see but for now, to me it looks like it’s going the Dynasty Warriors route. If it dosen’t to you, that’s fine :)

  • Gabriel May

Looks alright. I’ll wait for a trailer before judging the game. Does looke like to be another Dynasty Warior-esque type of game.
