Pre-purchase Dungeon Siege III On Steam, Get Dungeon Siege I & II Free

By Ishaan . April 8, 2011 . 5:03pm

This rather generous offer is exactly what it sounds like. If you pre-purchase Dungeon Siege III on Steam, you’ll receive free digital copies of Dungeon Siege and Dungeon Siege II that you’ll be able to play right away.

The Steam version of Dungeon Siege III will also be compatible with Steamworks, including auto-updates, Steam achievements, Steam Cloud support, and downloadable content, according to Square Enix.

Dungeon Siege III recently saw a delay, due to additional time required during the game’s final polishing phase. Square Enix have it pegged for a June 21st release in the U.S. Meanwhile, Europe gets it on June 17th.

Aw man, a month of waiting. Now Im just playing L.A. Noire in May. This offer is tempting though I will stick with the console release.

Three games for the price of one? Two of them might be older, but they’re new to me. Big thanks for the heads up on this nice little deal, as I love combo packs!

Hmm… know what’s sad? I find the prospect of free DS1 and 2 better if I didn’t have to buy DS3… lol.

Does that mean that there will be a non-Steam version as well?

I admit I was going to wait on this game until it became super cheap one day (cough, christmas?) but I think I might just get it because of this sweet deal. It’s always nice to play through a series from the first game anyway.
