New Catherine trailer? Sure, why not.

  And Polyamory works in various places, including the US. A certain TV show documents one such group of one man and four wives (one legal, three spiritual by their religion. And no, they’re not immigrants, they’re US born citizens so yeah. Vincent getting it on with Catherine and Katherine should be an obvious possibility, but only if Vincent had enough of a mind and enough wisdom, patience and the ability to carry it through… And we can tell, he doesn’t. He’s not exactly on the proper footing either and they’re probably indoctrinated to believe that the only proper method of being in a relationship is to be in a monogamous one.)

  One love interest is passive-aggressive, with heavy emphasis on the latter at times. The other is an extreme yandere. Then again, he also put himself in the situation, so you don’t need to pity him either~.

    Is she really yandere? I mean, there’s the line in one of the trailers, “You can do whatever you want too… Just as long as you never. Cheat. On me,” with the emphasis sounding fairly menacing, but you don’t have to be full on yandere to sound a little threatening where cheating is concerned.
    
    I’m definitely not saying she ISN’T, just that I haven’t seen proof positive she is. I already favored Katherine, but if Catherine is yandere… ew.

        I’ve long appreciated that site and think they largely do a decent enough job about the definitions. I do however take argument about a yandere always hiding behind a cute facade. I at least can pick pretty quickly those who gotz the knife a hidden.

      Well, there is the punch scene. And then there’s one of the endings. She comes off cute and idealistically (intentionally), but she’s still… Er… Catherine?
      
      Lol, I favored Katherine from the start myself, but I had a strong ‘haha!’ moment when I saw how disturbing Catherine can be. (Admittedly, one scene was mostly played for laughs even, but it does not at all stop it from showing how crazy she is.)

        I’d say a punch falls well short of yandere. My ex-wife punched me once. Tempers can flare without being yandere, and just being possessive, or even very possessive, isn’t necessarily yandere, without the whole “I’m crazy, you’re mine, go elsewhere and I’ll stab you/her/whatever,” aspect.
        
        That said, you also mentioned “one of the endings.” That could have the yandere side to it; I don’t know. I don’t want to spoil them for myself. <_<
        
        Edit: If the last paragraph didn't make it clear, I'm still not saying she's NOT yandere–just that nothing I've seen yet has really shown it. I AM coming from a weak position on this: I've paid attention to news, watched all trailers, gone through the whole official site, etc., but have not and will not read anything that might spoil plot, so she could be full on psychotic without my knowing it, if it's something being kept out of official releases.

        But even how she talks in the scene are words I feel are right in line with a yandere. She reminded me of a particular yandere poster girl….
        
        Hahaha. Yeah. Saying any more would just be spoilers ahoy, but if you see any of those scenes, she starts screaming yandere after a while. But it’s smart of them to keep all of these scenes out of official releases so far. They would give a lot away.
        
        But taking everything into consideration, Catherine is pretty much a perfect yandere. Comes off cute (and like the ideal girl) and slowly you see her… less cute side… Less cute and quite violent. In a way, her upbringing/identity kind of justifies it I guess, but that’d be a cheap excuse regardless of everything.

      Katherin’s not as crazy as everyone makes it out to be, she’s a little bossy and just wants his man to settle down (don’t waste money on gadgets and save some for the family and kid later, etc), a woman in her early 30′s w/ a career but wants a family, pretty normal actually. Believe me, anyone would be in a murderous rage if they caught their spouse cheating, that’s just a natural reaction. The killer bride thing is just in the dreams… I like Katherine calling Catherine whore lol.. I forgot what the Jpn ver said… I just wanted to go thru the story in Eng, but I’m kinda sick of playing this a lot alrdy.. great and unique game though, one of the GotY…

        I agree. It’s kind of funny to me how some people have been acting as though Katherine is a monster (and acting as though Catherine herself is perfect but with a small temper in one scene). I thought that was pretty much spot on though. She’s in her 30s, is pregnant and has been with Vincent for a while. Wanting to finally settle down (and have him man up a bit) isn’t too much to ask. She probably has to be the aggressive one in their relationship too, all things considered…

  The towers are the results of his psychological conflict anyhow. It’s always more interesting to see the cause rather then the effects, especially in these cases.

Finally an English trailer with some emotion in it! Now I can finally say I’m pretty pleased with the English dub incase the Japanese audio isn’t included (although it would be a nice option ;p). Pretty good in comparison to this Japanese trailer that is very similar.

  Troy did do a pretty good and long yell like Yamadera Koichi :) Anyway, it would take a bit for me to get used to Katherine especially because Michelle’s voice is very different than Mitsuishi Kotono’s deeper voice.
  
  Nice voice work for the main chars so far (other than Jonathan), I hope they would do the sub chars (bar patrons and sheeps) nicely as well.. there’s lots of NPC dialogue. I want to hear the creepy fat lady twins in Eng lol
