The guys from Red Sun Gamer are back as promised to bring you their second look at Bleach: Soul Ressurección. This time, they showcase 6 new characters from the mammoth roster of playable characters in Mission Mode.

Order of appearance: Baraggan in his crown-wearing skeleton form, Full Hollow Ichigo, Soifon, pink kimono clad Kyouraku, and Grimmjow. In this video, care was taken to execute each character’s repertoire of over-the-top special moves and unique combo attacks amidst various backdrops in the Bleach universe.

I’m going to have to pre-order this game soon :)

  • Crimson_Cloud

Lol, I admit, I was guilty and the description on how I acted was a spot on. Thanks for leaving the opening, it’s awesome. And thanks for showing us more characters and their moves, especially Yoruichi. ;)

    • Oh yes, you got them to play the full opening! Ranbu no Melody FTW!!!

    • AxeL

Cool, very happy you commented on it. Would’ve never thought they would respond and include it! Never heard about Red Sun Gamer but from a first impression have to say; I will look forward to your future collaborations and reviews! Thanks for giving us fans a review and a good chunk of character views and specials.

I’m looking forward to this game and playing with all my mains.
Gin, Skull Cap & Final Tensa Zangetsu Ichigo, Aizen, Zaraki, Stark, Hitsugaya and Yoruichi.

Had to see all the characters in the game once I saw this video. Already got my pre-order with NISA. Thanks again guys for the awesome review and the jokes to live up the video.

  • Grimmjow! My two favorite characters playable, Ichigo and Grimmjow! And playable Ulquiorra. I cant wait for our version, but they removed Ranbu no Melody from the english version based on that opening on youtube…ugh

I love the site for doing this! Thanks!

  • Lordphantomhive

Doesn’t look bad but I not a huge fan of games like dynasty warriors, however I would at least rent this just for Ulquiorra and Stark.:P

  • Ian

    Baragan’s breath o_O

    • DJmizuhara

It’s all in jest…I’m joking…trying to bring in a bit of humour into the mix.

  • blah blah

    Do want.

  • wakaki2d

Mammouth roster, lol. Rather small for this type of game, IMO. And already being in released form kinda sux. But as a fan I gotta buy it. Cant be worse than Shattered Blade.

  • Darkrise

I’ve never been a fan of shounen anime adapted games, but for once, this actually looks good, I think I’ll wait a little more for some other info before buying.

  • Mister_Nep

Very cool to see you guys do another episode. Both a Siliconera and podcast episode :P

Anyway, I know you don’t like the genre, but would you consider doing RPGs? Specifically Black Rock Shooter, or Tales of Xillia?

    • DJmizuhara

We are starting our new project tonight and it’s an JRPG, I can’t say what it is as of yet but we’ll be defiantly going down the RPG rabbit hole. I do like RPG’s just as long as the story is good and its not rinse and repeat like so many RPG’s on store shelves. Stay tuned…

  • Why…why did it have to be a Dynasty Warrior knockoff?

    • It’s much more fun.  I wouldn’t dismiss it so quickly.

      • Well I’ll see…but it’ll be pretty dissappointed if it’s just Square Button mashing like DW

  • Ahh not to impressed.

  • MrSirFeatherFang

I saw Soi Fon’s name and it just reminded me how her original VA passed away last month (iirc and rest in peace). I didn’t even know they already got a new VA…
