By Ishaan . July 9, 2011 . 1:28pm

Heads up! Ubisoft have a flood of what sounds like Nintendo 3DS games coming. The Australian Classification Board gave three of these away this week:

Puppies 3D

Imagine Babies 3D

Imagine Horse Rider 3D

These will soon be joining Petz Fantasy 3D, released on June 21st.

I’m so… excited? Well, props to whoever plays these I suppose. XD

  • Suicunesol

    Blockbuster hits, I’m sure.

    • M’iau M’iaut

They’ll no doubt outsell every recent announcement from XSeed and NISA combined.

      • Yui

        The saddening thing is, that may well end up being true. ;_;

  • Shinji Kazuya

    Ah… humm… all great titles… I suppose… O O…

  • PersonaBull

I always forget that Ubisoft puts out different kinds of games besides Prince of Persia and Assassin’s Creed.

    • I wonder when those will hit 3DS?

      • blah blah

AC has a 3DS game coming.
No release date that I know of.

        • kupomogli

          Imagine: Assassin’s Creed 3D

  • M’iau M’iaut

Shocked it took them this long to announce Babiez and Petz for the 3DS.

Will remain forever disappointed we never got an Imagine Babiez vs. Petz Great White Sharkz crossover game.

  • M’iau M’iaut

That My Little Pony wanna be looks absolutely wasted.

  • SirRichard

The range of stuff Ubisoft puts out intrigues me. On the one hand, they put out Assassin’s Creed and give Rayman Origins a chance at retail. On the other wave, they’re like a boss in a bullet-hell shooter with all the shovelware they throw at Nintendo’s consoles.

    • kylehyde

      I know

I remember that a year ago my little cousin (who is mainly a pc gamer) was watching a trailer of AC: brotherhood and suddenly he said “everything that Ubisoft makes is awesome” and I (that I’m mainly a DS user) was like “Oh really”. Yeah Ubisoft can make great things, however they can also make loads of shovelware.

  • I saw a partial release list for 3DS games a while ago and Ubisoft was literally releasing around 15 titles from August to December.  Sad part is, Nintendo probably sees them as great 3rd party relations to have.

    • Well more content available, more money for Ninty. I think these games are reasons why Ubisoft wants new hardware to come out, greater visibility of these  terrible titles.  These games are only compelling when the systems are nearing affordable prices for their target audience.

  • All I can see when I look at that picture is the crying bear balloon in the corner. I just do not even know.

  • MarkMario

The bear is sad. Very, very, sad.

    • M’iau M’iaut

Well if that’s pedobear he wants to see the person playing the game, not the da*n horse.

Hmmmm….wonders about other applications for the craptastic camera.

  • darkfox1

Well umm these games ehhhh hope who ever plays them have fun…?

  • Oh Ubisoft, you never let me down. When a platform is fresh and with few games, your there with shovelware to save the day.

  • kupomogli

Finally have a reason to pick up a 3DS.  Thank you, Ubisoft!

  • blah blah

I think we need Assassin’s Creed with puppies, kittens, and horsies.
    That’d be so kickass.

  • Dimentionalist

If I was forced to play games like these, I wouldn’t mind if the 3DS made me go blind. Maybe the little girls won’t care, and the 3DS won’t become a  dumping ground for Ubisoft shovelware.

  • Oh boy, just the games I needed! Now to get out my little tutu and tea set and I will be all set!

  • Hey, Ubisoft, [insert console name here] is lacking some shovelware! Come on, get to it! SAVE US FROM THE MONOTONY OF RPGS AND ACTION GAMES!

Seriously though, what an ugly unicorn.

  • Lordphantomhive

    How… exciting?

  • Mostly hardcore gamers have a 3DS… and it was mostly for LoZ: OoT… because we need these games right Ubisoft??!!?!?!??!?!?!??!?!

I don’t think the causal ‘gamer’ will buy a 3DS until they are cheap…er…. or their parents want to buy them lol…. wait… they all have DS Lite and probably won’t buy one…

  • kylehyde

Wow and then some people blame nintendo for the shovelware when the main guilty is there.

Ubisoft repeting their history of greatness on the 3DS, for that reason is that I’ve never been positive on ubisoft on nintendo handhelds, aside from rayman origins (which still doesn’t have see a single screenshot for the 3DS version) most of their offerings are the same trash that they offered on the DS.

  • Ah well, it’s only three of them. Anything bigger, and it probably wouldn’t have been leaked like this.

  • Low and behold, western 3rd party support in full force, just as promised @ E3 2010…

Beyond the Labyrinth can’t come soon enough.

  • SolNeko

    Dear god..

  • AdrianHeng

The “Core gamers” Nintendo guns for apparently love them unicorns.

    • if it was Robot Unicorn Attack, i’d play the crap out of it.

  • haqua

Geez, guys, who so sarcastic? I think these will be a wonderful collection to add on to Resident Evil, Dead or Alive, and Street Fighter.

  • YsyDoesIt

I applaud the suspense utilized here.

    Well played, indeed.

  • Horse rider? Are you serious? At least make it an exotic animal like a giraffe or an okapi!

  • With games like this, I think the Vita has no chance of success.

  • more like Shovelware 3D.

  • origami_samurai

Seriously why, why do this to the 3DS? T_T

  • I really thought that said Imagine Babes. Why Nintendo why? Then I glanced at it again. Never mind Nintendo, continue on.
