By Spencer . July 26, 2011 . 5:48pm

Imageepoch has a Hatsune Miku tie up for 7th Dragon 2020. The Sega published title will have "Hatsune Miku 2020" in the game. She will also sing the game’s theme song "SeventH-HeaveN" which is being produced by sasakure.UK.

Famitsu announced the release for 7th Dragon 2020 too. Imageepoch’s PSP sequel will be available in Japan on October 27. Still no news about a North American release.

Man, I wonder if SEGA’s going to become her godfather, like with the Gunstar Heroes game(s).

I can’t wait to see future fanfic where we see Segata Sanshiro is standing next to Miku lol,

  • sasakure.UK <3

Although this is on PSP :( I'm not expecting a localization…

    • sasakure.UK is awesome. Hello*Planet is such an amazing song (and game!).

And I wouldn’t be too quick to dismiss 7th Dragon 2020 — the presence of Hatsune Miku ensures that I’ll probably at least PLAY it when it comes out, and if I like it, I’ll obnoxiously bother my coworkers about it until they want to punch me.

It’s the least I can do, really. ;)

      • Hello*Planet is wonderful!  Bokura no 16-Bit Sensou might be my favorite. Sasakure.UK’s style wonderfully suits being in a game :) I haven’t been able to play it, since despite owning Project Diva, I haven’t bought any DLC because I haven’t figured out how to have two accounts on my PSP without deactivating my NA-bought DLC orz.

Is 7th Dragon a game that’s easy to pick up without much knowledge of Japanese? I don’t think i know enough kanji to pick up most games ^^; (outside of rhythm games). I hope Hatsune Miku 2020 is a playable character :) and I hope her model is adorable!

        • Even if you deactivate your English PSN account, you’ll only be temporarily disabling your downloads — you can always switch back later. As far as I know, there’s no limit to the number of times you can switch from one region’s PSN to another.

          Just FYI.

          • I see! So if I log in and out of acccounts via PSN I’ll be fine? D:

          • Yep. Though I’ll admit, even though I’ve been assured I can switch back and forth as many times as I want, I’m still rather hesitant to do so… so my personal experience is only with switching back and forth maybe 3 or 4 times total, after which point I just stuck with J-PSN.

But I’ve been assured by multiple people that I can switch back and forth again and again without repercussions, so… take that as you will!

So… will that same song be in Project Diva? :D

  • NISA said that they are going to publish imageepoch games, but they said that they’re going to wait until they release non PSP games….

    • Learii

      you serious? i love NISA

    • Thomas Maloney

which is all they’re doing right now, lol

  • I knew it was only a matter of time for a Vocaloid to sing an anime or game opening.

    • Already happened. Mighty Milky Way’s opening is “sung” by Megurine Luka. WayForward’s an American company, too. I don’t even like Vocaloids or the fandom around them much, but I liked the opening before I knew the sound director used Luka!

  • Learii

    cool  can’t wait  dam

  • Lexaus_the_Alchemist

For some reason, I don’t see why this hasn’t happened sooner. But I look forward to hearing it when it releases.

  • 128bitigor

    Vocaloid is soooo creepy…

  • AzureNova

    Miku >_< !!!
