Namco Dispatch A Brave Company Overview Trailer

Namco Bandai released the first ever trailer for their Nintendo 3DS hero management simulator, Brave Company, today. If you’re just getting caught up, Brave Company is a Nintendo 3DS and iOS game that has you managing a hero-employment agency:

In Brave Company, you play as the president of the agency, and are required to interview and hire heroes. Once you’ve hired heroes, you can send them out to complete quests, which can consist of killing monsters or finding treasure. Clearing these quests will earn you money that you can then invest in expanding your hero agency.

Heroes come in different character classes such as knight, wizard, archer, priest and so on. There are more than 10 of these classes in the game. They’ll be able to take on over a hundred quests during the course of Brave Company. While your agency will start out as a shack, you can eventually upgrade it into a high-tech skyscraper and set up even more facilities.

Namco have the 3DS version of Brave Company scheduled for an October 27th release.

Looks interesting, here’s hoping that it will be brought over.

    Looks pretty cool.

But I think what we’re all really wondering is: Will the Brave Company eventually expand to produce the Brave Police?

Should you be talking about this? You’re Ex-Kaiser, not J-Decker >=P

Lmao at fancy FF-like art! Did you see that archer? XD The Dragon Quest-like logo is hilarious too. But all jokes aside I’m looking forward to hearing more about this. Its rare to see a game with sprites progressing throughout battle in this kind of perspective. Love the idea of trotting around and getting the first strike.

  • Hope this is good. My 3DS is currently getting plenty of RPG love thanks to the fact that there’s nothing good exclusively for the 3DS, so I’m dipping into the depths of the DS library for excellent RPGs (like Radiant Historia, Dragon Quest IX, any of the DQ Remakes, Golden Sun Dark Dawn, Blue Dragon Awakened Shadow, Suikoden Tierkries, any of the Matrix-developed Final Fantasy games, Chrono Trigger, etc.). However, I’m eager to see what these devs do once they move on from the DS hardware and start producing games for the 3DS.
