Watch PlatinumGames Staff Play An Anarchy Reigns Multiplayer Match

PlatinumGames have put up a 10-minute video of their staff members playing a team-based multiplayer game of Anarchy Reigns, with various characters in play. Some of the footage shows off interesting interaction between the characters, such as Jack riding Garuda like a skateboard. Take a look at the match below:

Nice to see that the multiplayer is a lot more “controlled” than I thought it would be. Thought it would be endless chaos with crazy combos in every direction lol.

LOL, was that Rick Ross rapping? I always get a kick out of hip hop or rap in Japanese games for some reason.

But this video was just what I needed, gonna go preorder this the next time I hit the store. The game looked fun as hell, too bad there is no split screen though. :/

Whoa! I didn’t know about this game, but it looks real awesome! It looks pretty open, and I love how you can use your surroundings to your advantage. Gameplay looks nice and smooth. (◕‿◕✿)

On a side note, I thought it was a bit odd that they were wearing headsets sitting across from each other. Though, I guess it makes sense since there wouldn’t be clear communication with everyone talking. （*＾ワ＾*）

Really though, all of the characters look like a lot of fun in one way or another, and that’s great. Totes diggin that music too.

Movement is still a little chunky looking o3o; But I think there’s more then enough interesting qualities/good things that I’m definitely sold. I like the way @Kitestwinblades:disqus put it >ww<~

Watching I've seen some nice mechanics, blocking, canceling, teching, counters, and even what looks like command throws o3o~ So it looks like it'll have some depth to sink your teeth into owo;

  Um the multiplayer modes is the biggest draw of the game. Its like being sad that your playing smash for the mutiplayer mode or any fighter for that matter its the main draw.

Sega better put some marketing muscle in to this, or else. Platinum is one of my favorite developers, so if Sega leaves them alone to die again with this game, I swear i will not be giving Sega anymore of my money.

  Too bad Sega is terrible when it comes to PR; Binary domain was pretty awesome but the game had zero marketing and bombed pretty hard.

    And this is why I’m not surprise Sega is in financial shambles as of now. I like their games, but I like Platinum even more, so every time Sega doesn’t put forth any marketing on deserving games, it makes me really really hate them. I wish Square or even Capcom can start publishing Platinum games instead of damn Sega.

Jack riding Garuda + Big Bull getting stuck in tire = sold. Again.

This game looked cool before but, now that we get to see the main focus, it’s clear that Platinum made sure this wouldn’t be something to get bored of quickly.

This game reminds me of a PS1 game I played all those years ago.

Completely forgot what it was called though. Chibi (I think..) characters throwing stuff and beating each other up.

The background looks terrible, and I don’t mean graphics terrible. I mean post world terrible. I honestly don’t like the aesthetic, BUT, this game looks godlike and mad fun. Especially because it’s Platinum.
