Konami have released another vague teaser trailer for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. Only, this time, there’s no actual video at all—just a voice clip with a link to this site. Listen to the clip below:

Here’s the description for the video on YouTube: “ has hacked into Colorado Senator Stephen Armstrong’s speech writer’s voicemail, recovering a message left by Senator Armstrong. This audio clip reveals the horrific truth about what the Senator’s true plans are for America.”

  • Pansies in the Tea Party? lolololol

    • eww perv

    • Pansies are a great flower to have in a tea party along with tulips, roses and orchids :3 Oh and hibiscus too! Makes me want to have a nice outdoor tea party as soon as the weather permits. (✿❛◡❛)ノ

      •  Tea is delicious <3. Can't thin the flowery stuff all the time, just found it it makes me very nauseated.

This game is sounding more and more like a Metal Gear game.  I have high hopes for this game, Platinum handling the gameplay, and Kojima Productions handling the story.

Whoa, Kojima. You’re getting too close to reality.

  • Oh dear… This is going to a very fine line they are walking. I can see it now, the people believing this to be truth or the flame of flame wars. If going by this teaser they are kinda paralleling what’s going on now… (^.^;  ) I know, I know, It’s a game and a story but you see people are… people and common sense is well… not common. I am excite for the game and story just gotta be prepared for the flames is all.

Ha, making it political. Nice. I like my Japanese moe anime games, but if Japan is going to go for the gritty military game, I like it done like Metal Gear. One that has loads of references and chooses to make its players a little bit intelligent. Whether references/nods to otaku culture(otakon, ect.), intricate conspiracy theories, or really hitting close to reality and real politics, Metal Gear has kept an edge this way.

An edge of being culturally interesting and relevant for multiple parties. Keep true to that. Last thing Hideo Kojima needs to worry about right now, is a little bit of political controversy.

  • Wanted it when I saw the trailers and teasers for it last year and I still want it now. Can’t go wrong with a Kojima Productions and Platinum Games combo.

  • What nuanced political commentary.

sound like a fuse between kojima’s war and platinum’s comicalness alright. :P gonna love this.
