The Super LBX Machines Of The Little Battlers W

By Ishaan . May 19, 2012 . 1:30pm

The Little Battlers W introduces new Super LBX machines, which are created by combining thee others together. Sigma Orbis (above), for instance, is formed by combining Perseus, Elysion, and Minerva.

Killer Droid, on the other hand, is a giant enemy LBX that you’ll have to take on at some point. Level 5 released screenshots of both today. First up is the Sigma Orbis:

And this is the Killer Droid:

The Little Battlers W is in development for the PSP.

  • inb4 people complain about a localization

it’s coming (well for the 3DS game at least)

    •  Well the good thing is even if it wasn’t the DS and 3DS are usually region free, so no having to get the japanese version of anything to play games on. The game looks kinda cool though, reminds of of Custom Robo.

      •  3DS is region locked. There are no exceptions to that. Luckily, if people don’t want to wait for a 3DS port of this game or something, PSP is region-free.

        • First I’ve heard of that, then again I normally don’t start checking on region locks for a system until I actually own it.

    • Farid Belkacemi

Well… What is your source ? :p We don’t really know if it’s coming in US/Europe yet.

  • Zenkaider

    DAMN!Now that’s radical Junior!

Can’t believe I said that…well, the awesomeness that stems is just that much,it makes me speak like I’m back in the 90’s for some reason…

  • XiaomuArisu

Three robots combining to form a bigger robot to defeat a even bigger robot.
    Sounds good to me.

      • XiaomuArisu

         Or Gurren Lagann.
Who the Hell do you think we are!

  • Solomon_Kano

This is going to be fudging awesome. I wonder if this will show up on 3DS later too? I mean, the first game did.

    • sherimae1324

       …….ummm maybe YES and maybe NO…… ^_^

      • Solomon_Kano

I figure there’s a good chance if the first one does well. So I hope it does.

        • sherimae1324

the chances will be….. maybe 70% well its still depends on.. you know who? ^_^ tee-hee…… kukuku

i wish there’s also little battlers on.. (to be fair)  Home Consoles ^_^ tee-hee

I know people hate when I say this – but why isn’t this game or games like it on the PS3?

Sadly know why its not on the US PSP, but still. What happened to that program which allowed for transferring upscaled PSP/PSV games to the PS3?

    • MrKappa

Level 5 put it on a handheld so they can cash in by making multiple versions like their Inazuma Eleven series which is another thing that won’t be localized.

      • boundries_san

Umm Inazuma Eleven 2 is coming to Europe, u know that don’t u?

        • Farid Belkacemi

          I’ll add one thing : It’s already available ;)

          • boundries_san

Is that so??? Lol how can i miss it here? *Going to check it now*

          • Farid Belkacemi

Well, I have the Blizzard edition ! :D

          • boundries_san

Ohoho. I just pre-ordered FireStorm edition lol. (Fire just seems to be the best.^^)

          • Farid Belkacemi

I wouldn’t say that, there’s no BIG difference between the two :p

      • Godmars

So no one remembers the PSP version of Monster Hunter that was upscaled and put on the PS3? How everyone involved talked about how cheap and easy the process was?

Guessing Sony did since that the Metal Gear games that’s using it.

      • Multiple versions? Outside of the Boost re-release, there is only 1 style of release for LBX games. There are no LBX Blue, and LBX Red style of release.

    • Code

Unless it was a really huge seller on the PSP, it probably don’t pay to do an upscaled port to the PS3, which is why we’ve only seen a few. Considering how Level 5 was handing off projects like LBX on 3DS to other companies; chances are resources are already far too thin.

    • boundries_san

Because Japan loves portable more than consoles game?

    • The market for this kind of game are young boys. They do not own a PS3, as the sales of Ninokuni on PS3 demonstrated quite well.

      • Godmars

You don’t realize how much your statement speaks towards the separation of diversity of the last and current console generations, do you?

I knew when I heard that sprite based graphics would become cost restrictive we were in trouble.

  • The most sadly is that PS Vita are very pretty dead in Japan and the companys only support PSP and 3DS…

Why Sony dont use the money for buy this kind of games and dont loss time and money in proyect very wasting  like the last of us, playstation battle royal and another ussefull western games

    • sherimae1324

its so simple first the VITA is getting a momentum by now its still so early to say the VITA is DEAD remember that the 3DS suffers in its 1st year ^_^ the only game that saves it is Monster Hunter 3G and then the good games come by ^_^and also the Price Drop helps it…..

and still complaining about the PSP has still games? get over with it oni-chan? your talking about JAPAN here and as of now the PSP is holding its ground against the 3DS while its also giving way for the VITA!

      great isnt it ^_^

      • YES, i talking about JAPAN because my likes are japanese, i dont care a crap this side of the world

        • sherimae1324

          Hai Hai, oni-chan…  I agree ^_^

  • LynxAmali

Looking kind of Escaflowne there, Orbis.

    As for Droid…..

    Lookin kinda Gundam “BEAST” there.

  • i like da Killa Droid!
