In This Atelier Ayesha Video, Ayesha Talks To Townsfolk

By Ishaan . May 26, 2012 . 3:00pm

Gust have uploaded footage of Atelier Ayesha in the form of an “Events” play movie, showing off conversations with couple of characters and a story event. Take a look at them below:

More footage of Atelier Ayesha can be found here. That video gives a glimpse of the game’s battle system and more. Atelier Ayesha is scheduled for release in Japan on June 28th.

    That witch is so…. CUTE!

  • rebecasunao

Ayesha looks so cute and so different from the previous Atelier heroines, but her voice and her personality are kinda annoying… >_> the witch and Regina (is that her name?) look more interesting.

    • puchinri

I think it’s her color scheme, but she actually reminds me of Marie. And while I love Marina Inoue, I do feel like the combination of her voice and how demure and gentle Ayesha is makes her a bit flat, especially compared to everyone else. But she is terribly cute, so I’m just really confused about how to feel.

  • AzureNova

    Best Atelier game ever. =^_^=

  • Loran Cehack

They are really fast. I remember they just announced this the other day and now they’ve come this far. So amazing. I simply cannot wait! WOOT!

    • Kevadu

You know they were probably already working on it before the announcement…announcements are arbitrary.  But I guess waiting until shortly before release to announce it is a lot better than the S-E approach of announcing games before you’ve even started working on them.

      • Loran Cehack

Yeah, I’m sure they were already. It all just feels so fast and surreal. That’s all. (I think it’s just me!) I can’t wait to play it though. Never played the other 3 Arland series but I really want to play this one a lot for some odd reason.

        • puchinri

I was thinking the same actually. They probably were working on it for some time, but it felt like announcement > close release date > BOOM! all these awesome vids and stuff. >u<

Never tried the Arland series either (I did want to try some other titles in the Atelier series though), but I'm really looking forward to this one~!

  • Kevadu

Looks great for the most part but am I the only one who can’t stand the terrible lip sync?

    • Nitraion

Well in the past they used portrait for conversation, now they remove it and i think they should work more on the site note the graphic and battle really really improved and the story i don’t think gust ever make bad story nor great story they just enjoyable

  • LETS PRAY FOR LOCALIZATION

This game looks great, can’t wait till its released in japan.

  • Nitraion

Man when NISA will be announce it march ,april?
On other side waiting for meruru, damn 29th may feels soooo long ~~

  • WyattEpp

As if I wasn’t sold already.  They’re taunting us– taunting ME!

…You know, I always feel bad for the people who have to voice animals.

    Greet Game
Finally i can watch some movies scenes, it is much better than just watching their pictures

    • Learii

lol i  agree NIS America mostly use pictures beside using scenes at every events

      • http://www.facebook.com/sprintsmcgee Josh Bennett

you do realize NISA has no power over how the game plays? They just localize the text and do the dubbing. Gust is the one that made the event scenes as portraits.

      • aquagon

And furthermore, the character portrait scenes have been an staple of Gust’s games ever since the first Atelier game was released in 1996 (Atelier Marie). It’s just that they decided to stop using them now that they have become so good at making the models for their characters, despite still suffering problems with the lip-sync.

  • Ravage27

Wow the game looks GREAT! :3

  • scratchbach

Never played Atelier before, but I really like how this game looks. It’s definitely on my radar.

  • z_merquise

This could be my first Atelier game. Really love the artwork and it seem like a light-hearted but adventurous game which is appealing for me.

    No time constraints, please? D:

I know that isn’t possible, but I can dream. :s

    • Endy Operin

Actually, it doesn’t have time constraints in this Atelier.

  • Azure_Blue

If there is something that I always look forward in a Atelier game (or a Gust game), is character interaction. The diversity of the cast makes the game a joy.

  • Stranger On The Road

wow, the graphics look really really nice; now please make your next priority is fixing the habit of using pre-animated hair and cloth movement.

    otherwise… I am in loveeee.

  • Sergio Pinheiro

Look better than Arland trilogy, but i miss the previous chara.
One thing call for my attencion:

Why All Atelier have dual language track and none of Tales have it?
Untill recently publish both…I can undertand that stupid decision.

  • puchinri

I remember watching these on their website. They helped get me even more excited for the game~.

And listening to it now. . .  is Regina voiced by Erika from HPC? 0o0
FFFFF! I love it~! I never realized or noticed before. Mizusawa and Inoue together is fantastic. Well, the entire cast is magnificent, but those two voices catch my heart the most and first (well, first, for the most part).

It’s also kind of funny to me that they have three Cures in there. . . more Cure voices please, Gust + Tecmo Koei~?

Voices aside, the character’s personalities and interactions seem like a lot of fun and very endearing. I’m really looking forward to the game. It has so many wonderful aspects and elements. ♥
