Batch #3 of One Piece: Pirate Warriors DLC is out today in Europe and Namco Bandai released a new trailer for it this morning, highlighting its contents:

Like the two previous batches of DLC, this one, too, will feature three character packs for 2.99€ each, each one with a costume and scenario:

  • Traditional Japanese kimono for Chopper and “Two Views of Justice” scenario
  • Costume from Strong World for Nami and “The Great Navy Caper” scenario
  • New kimono costume for Robin and “The true Pirate Warrior” scenario

I think I speak for everyone when I say they’d much rather have her Time-Skip outfit. Hell, that goes for all the other 6 Straw Hats but I doubt we’ll see it till it’s time for the sequel.

some of the outfits time skip outfit similar though. I don’t like luffy’s new outfit haha. One piece strong world outfit would of been cool too haha

Agreed, though it’s not like the ones they put out are disappointing or anything ;)

  • Muffum

Silly Ishaan, that’s not Robin. I don’t blame you for the error, though; Usopp does have devilishly good looks.

Hmrph… enough with the costumes already !

Where are the Syrup Village, Skypiea and Thriller Bark scenarios ?!? Where are Kuro, Enel and Moriah ?!? Where are the 3 missing major story arcs of the series ?!?

Or even better: where’s the DLC FUNimation english voicework option, like they did for Dynasty Warrior with their DLC japanese voice option ?

I….think I might have to buckle down and get this game…

Ah, Nami’s Strong World-“costume”. Oh you jokers you :)

Also is it really true that Syrup Village and Thriller Bark are cut out? I heard that Skypiea was gonna go, but those two as well? Man… I guess they’re holding on to those arcs for a possible sequel, then.

    • Yes, they’re not in the game, which made me sad as Thriller Bark is my second favorite arc. But I also think they may hold on for a sequel(I hope there is going to be one, it’s a lot of fun!).

      • Göran Isacson

I kinda figured- I look at the sequel to Ken’s Rage and I see they’ve included plenty of arcs and villains that were left out of the first one, even if the games storyline SHOULD have covered them. So… I guess it’s all about saving in on development costs. They make the first game feature the REALLY popular and big-name characters, then  when that game has earned it’s keep they can releasee a sequel which can pretty much reuse the already developed characters and stages, and just fill in the missing “holes” in the plot/character lineup as they can afford it.

This catches up Europe to Japan I think. Hopefully we’ll start hearing some news about these dlc coming out for NA too.

    Ishaan, that’s Usopp, not Robin
