Gravity Rush’s Kat Will Be A DLC Character For PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale

By Ishaan . November 15, 2012 . 10:00am

PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale will have free downloadable characters, Sony announced this morning. Kat from Gravity Rush and Emmett Graves from StarHawk will be joining the game early next year.

Kat is described as a character that focuses on aerial assault while Emmett can call down help from the sky. Sony say the two characters have a way to go until they’re ready for release, and haven’t announced an exact release date yet.

Both characters will be downloadable for free for the first two weeks after they are made available, following which you will presumably have to pay to purchase them thereafter.

PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale will be released on November 20th for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.

    F**K YEAAAH!!!

    NOW I’m getting this game.
    It’s ON now.

    This is SO happening.

    • xavier axol

yeah i know! kat is awesome and for her to appear in the game just made my day. i hope sony continue to add characters, i would like to see wander  and yorda from ico.

  • Narrator 1

And now will come the usual whining about disc-locked DLC…

    • Fidelis

There is never a time where disc-locked DLC doesn’t deserve whining.

However, I will admit it’s pretty stupid when people whine then buy it anyway.
Because..what kind of message is that sending the devs?

      • raymk

Yes there is and this is one of those times, if the stuff is free its free.  If you usually get the game from any other means it usually means they aren’t getting paid from you buying the game so it doesn’t matter anyway.  Besides that in this case we don’t even know if they are on disk.

    • Curan_Altea

Well it’s free, and there’s always the possibility that she wasn’t ready for the final product when the game went gold.

    • Safros9

      Except it’s not disc locked…

      • KingRuff

Yeah he just jumped to conclusions to start something. :/

  • GreekGod88

    Kat :3

  • OathkeeperSoraXIII

nice. so the character file for Kat that leaked WAS true, thought so. It’s great to know that she’ll be free for the 1st two weeks although why would you make people pay AFTER those two weeks :/ as for the starhawk person, Idc lol

it’s gonna be so awesome seeing Kat in 1080p on my ps3 :P

    • Nemesis_Dawn

It’s easy, actually. It gets people to buy the game while it’s still full price, instead of waiting for all of the DLC characters to be announced. Smart strategy, actually.

      • Elvick

That would only work if the characters have to be “acquired” through an ingame store. Otherwise, you can just download them into your download list from the PS Store, get the DLC free, and then wait for whenever you want to buy the game.

Knowing Sony, we can just download them from the PS Store. Not because they’re generous, but because they do things stupidly.

        • Nemesis_Dawn

Yeah, but most people aren’t going to just download characters unless they intend on getting the game eventually. Otherwise, it’s just, “Hey, let me fill up some space on my HDD for no reason.”

          • Elvick

Um, you don’t have to download them. You can just go through the checkout process, buy them, then they’re in your download list forever.

It’s a “Hey, this is free. I’ll add it to my download list in case I ever get this game.”

But no, people are just going to go buy it instead of download free stuff for later. You’re totally right. You should work at Sony, because I’m sure they have plenty of people who are paid to think that backwards.

  • NANAandLIZZYfanatic

Sweet, don’t give a crap about either character, but I like free.

  • Zonic505

Kat as DLC?! Heck yeah! FREE DLC?!! HELLZ YEAH.

  • benhofb

    Damn, I’m excited about Kat. Emmet… uber-meh.

  • XiaomuArisu

three letters are enough to make people buy this game.

  • Curan_Altea

Awesome character I was hoping for, and characters are free? Glad I pre-purchased this last week.

  • ZEROthefirst

The first character in this game that would make me sort of want to play. Of course if some actual old Sony Mascot’s find their way in, then I’ll find an excuse to spend however much on a used copy.

    • Elvick

Spike is an old Mascot. So is Parappa.

You had a crappy past if you never got to play Ape Escape or Parappa the Rapper on at least a demo disc.

      • ZEROthefirst

I’m talking about PS1 classic mascot’s like Crash and Spyro, not jumping into the PS2 era where the characters were pretty forgettable, and you really only remember the game more then the characters themselves..

        • Elvick

          That doesn’t even make sense.

  • Shuryou

Before people really go insane with this… They’re not free. They’re just free for the first two weeks. Probably as ‘beta test’.

    • heartless141

nope you got that wrong. they are free for the first two week. if you get it then it’s yours forever. after that it’s priced.
      probably for the early supports.

    • Curan_Altea

I’m guessing it’s more of an incentive to get people to buy the game early, rather then wait for a cheap(er) copy. Still better then charging for it right out of the gate.

    • And that is why I am more and more less likely to buy this game. With every update the word ‘beta’ comes to mind, and frankly it saddens me.

      • Safros9

Actually, the characters are free.  So long as you download them in those 2 weeks. The only people who will have to pay are those who did not download the characters during said time period.

        • PreyMantis

Which sucks if you don’t have the dough to buy the game within those two weeks… It also worries me that the later DLC characters will have to be paid just to play as them.

          • Zonic505

You can still download the DLC even if you don’t the game, so if you want to get the characters while they’re free while waiting for the game to drop in price or something, go ahead.

          • Nemesis_Dawn

You mean like almost every other game with DLC on the planet?

          • raymk

You can just download them without the game, why is that so hard for people to understand? Its like dealing with grade school children on here.

        • I wouldn’t give them my hard-earned money either way.

    • Nemesis_Dawn

You’re very much abusing the word “beta.”

  • ivanchu77

Extremelly happy that Kat made the cut, she will be one of my mains for sure.

  • $30632660

And here I was about to applaud Superbot for adding more characters and not charging for them,

until I saw the rest of the article.

    • kupomogli

It’s written confusingly. It could mean that once they’re made available you can download them for free. Or it could also be taken that you can use them for free during the first two weeks.

I’m assuming they’re free for those who download them within the first two weeks though.

So here’s what you do. First two weeks. Download the characters. Even if you don’t have the game. Tada. Free.

      • Seth already stated that in the comments: If you download the DLC within the first two weeks of it’s release, it will be yours forever. After that, you will have to pay for it. Also, the DLC is the whole package, not some demo data to test out.

  • Nemesis_Dawn

The free DLC for two weeks is actually a very smart business strategy. There are many people who are waiting to see who all the DLC characters are, but if you make it so DLC characters are free briefly, it makes it more likely for people to be early adopters, especially if they carry this strategy throughout the lifetime of the game. I mean, imagine if they announce Lightning/Cloud say six months from now and they are also free for the first two weeks. Not only does that benefit the people who bought it early, but it would lead to a resurgence of sales during that two week period, with people trying to save themselves the $5-10.

That way, the longer you take to buy the game, the more it will cost you in DLC. Very, very smart.

    • Quinton Cunningham

Well, you can still download the DLC without owning the game unless they do it exclusively through an in-game store.

  • Learii

my kat made it in yay

  • kupomogli

“Kat from Gravity Rush and Emmett Graves from StarHawk will be joining the game early next year.

Sony say the two characters have way to go until they’re ready for release, and haven’t announced an exact release date yet.”

The game has already been pressed and shipped and it’s quite clear in what I’ve quoted, that they’re not ready yet.  Meaning these characters are not disc locked content or prerelease content.

  • Crap. Now I have to get this game. Kat!!!! >_< <3

  • Now I’m actually interested in this game…

  • …The game comes with two Cole MacGraths and no Kat. Let me say that again to make sure I’m not just crazy. TWO COLE MACGRATHS AND NO KAT.

Anyway, I’m still not sure what the general consensus is on this game. From what I see, it seems like people aren’t taking this seriously at all, seeing it as a shameless SmashBros ripoff, but There could be some genuine excitement about it. I just don’t know.

    • No man, alot of ppl are psyched for this. The ppl who think its a smash bros clone have not played the game. Its not. Its been getting alot of positive coverage, especially from IGN.

      • Elvick

I’d reserve judgement on that until the game is released. Journalists shift views once a game comes out.

“Diz da bestz game evar” < impression
        "horrabowl trashz" < review

      •  Really? You trust IGN? Most part of them are untrustable… reviews are opions for good lord sake =…=

  • kupomogli

While it would have been nice if they delayed the game for these characters to be included on disc, I’m sure after they hit 20 they decided they would release the game and keep the game fresh by working on new characters for DLC, so we’ll slowly see DLC throughout next year.  Having these characters available as a free download for the first two weeks is nice as well, saves us from purchasing them.

It’s a smart move by Sony because we’re aware of this free DLC and one character we all want to try out, and it’ll keep certain people from selling the game.  I for one was never planning on selling it because of how fun the game was to play on the betas alone.

I’m also assuming that Kat and Emmett are going to have their own story modes included and both of these characters are going to be rivals.  The reason I say this is because Superbot confirmed about a month ago that when they release DLC, it’s going to be done in twos.  Every other character has a story mode and a rival, so the character in twos thing makes you think the DLC will as well.

‘Seth Killian on November 15th, 2012 at 10:15 am said:
Yes, happy to say both Kat and Emmett have full story modes complete with rivalry cinematically. Are they rivals? Hmmm…’

Looks like I was correct on the story mode, characters being rivals.

  • AndyFe

that is awesome, I really wanted Kat in this game.hopefully we see more like this.

  • So we get on-disc Fat Princess, but Kat is relegated to DLC duty? For shame Sony.

    • couldn’t get her on time? She won’t be in the game until the beginning of next year.

    • kupomogli

Fat Princess was one of the first characters they thought of.  Gravity Rush wasn’t even out at the time.

      • PreyMantis

It still makes no sense because neither Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance nor DmC: Devil May Cry are out, yet, Raiden and (neo) Dante, respectively, are already available on the game from start. Gravity Rush have been out for quite awhile, so Kat being on the game should have been there from the beginning, instead.

        • Nemesis_Dawn

Raiden makes sense, because his design is just an update of his MGS4 design.
Neo Dante, on the other hand, is just a blatant marketing decision, probably tied to the inclusion of Nariko. Old school Dante, on the other hand, is very much a Playstation-associated character, so he would have made a lot of sense.

    • Elvick

I think she (Fat Princess) would have made sense as DLC, given that she’s from a PSN game originally. (There’s the retail PSP game, not sure how much different they are from each other)

However, Fat Princess plays like a dream so I don’t mind. It’s just lame that there’s no Vita rep at all in the actual roster. Kat would have helped with the lack of females, the lack of a Vita rep and been another notch for new IPs which are a big part of PlayStation. And she could have been argued as a JRPG rep, or at least been close enough to hold off for some DLC to see if there’s a real one incoming.

Though, now that I think about it. I don’t think there’s a PSP rep either. :/ I’m excluding series that were born on other consoles (like Uncharted, Killzone, Ape Escape). Also excluding stages obviously.

  • If I didn’t play Gravity Rush, I’d be so psyched!

Kinda makes me wish that I was one of the people interested in the Vita and GRush, but didn’t buy either.
But no, I bought them, I played it- I hate her >_< *mumble grumble*

    • raymk

But the question is why do you hate her after playing the game as opposed to before?  I played GR and like her more after playing it than before so this is kinda odd to see.

      • kupomogli

This.  I wasn’t interested in Kat or Gravity Rush in the least, but it wasn’t until a couple of months ago I tried out the demo of Gravity Rush and was like O_O.  The demo was amazing and I played it through a few more times.  Being the patient person that I am, I’ve been waiting for a price drop since the game has been out for awhile.

Also, Kat has a nice design.  Plus was a likeable character in the demo.

        • Elvick

Are you a Plus member in NA? Because it’s one of the free games coming.

    • How can anyone hate Kat? D:

  • raymk

Welp time to go pre-order now, me so happy ^_^.  I was going to get the game anyway at launch but this made me excited enough to just go pre-order it now.

  • Muffum

Weren’t Starhawk sales overwhelmingly mediocre? And it was a standalone IP late in the PS3’s life as opposed to, say, Heavenly Sword or Gravity Rush? I’m not entirely sure Starhawk warrants an inclusion, especially considering that not many played it for the single-player.

    • Quinton Cunningham

    • either the campaign or multiplayer became free for PS+ or was free.

    • The same could have been said for say Marth and Roy of Fire Emblem and their inclusion in the Smash Bros. games. I doubt many even played a Fire Emblem game before Melee came out (outside Japan), but their inclusion more than likely made a few people curious about their series since then.

On that note, I’m glad Sony’s own Toro is getting some exposure outside of Japan with these fighting games. Poor cat needs love in the west too! Like Quinton said “Promotion”. :3

    • Elvick

Starhawk is a spiritual successor to Warhawk. Which was originally on PSone, and then there was the PS3 game which had a loyal fanbase. I wouldn’t really consider it a “standalone” IP.

  • Ben Sylvia

    At least they’re free.

    People will still complain though.

  • samael789

I’ve never heard of either of these games. But free is free… can’t beat that.

  • It seems like the cast of this game is a bunch of a nobodies and non-PS exclusive characters, and the few popular PS characters they did include look totally out of place in this game.

    • raymk

Except they don’t look out of place. Did people really think the characters in smash were out of place before actually playing the game?  Did people think that street fighter vs x-men were out of place?  Of course they did and that’s why some things work well.  I don’t think there’s a such thing as out of place in an fan-service game like this were things are supposed to kinda be that way.

      • Dexward

I kinda see his point. From the games you pointed out, personally, I didn’t get that feeling of out of place. It felt natural. But Playstation All-Stars just didn’t sit right with me.

      • Elvick

I wouldn’t compare the overall “mesh” of Smash Bros to this at all. The only character that ever felt out of place in SSB, was Snake to me. He still does. And that was in the third entry, and he’s a third party character.

All Stars doesn’t mesh as well. Characters similar to Snake (Kratos, Radec, Sweet Tooth) throw it off balance from characters like Fat Princess, Sly, Ratchet, Spike, etc. Who all would fit in with the stylized nature of SSB’s cast. Nintendo has much fewer “realistic” styled games, which makes it easier to include most of their roster without worry.

Sony doesn’t though, it’s a mix of stylized characters and realistic styled ones.

In a perfect world we’d have a Sony x Nintendo game to show how well they’d fit together overall with their stylized characters. Sackboy beating on Mario would be so win. Zelda vs Kat.

        • Nemesis_Dawn

But you are not realizing that Sony’s most popular first party characters ARE the more realistic ones. Sony’s games tends to target an older audience while Nintendo’s tend to aim for families. I can think of nothing else exciting than a Sony brawler that didn’t have characters like Kratos and Drake and Cole.

          • Elvick

Now. This is honoring their ENTIRE HISTORY. Not their now.

I never said they shouldn’t be included. Just said they didn’t mesh as well and explained why.

        • raymk

Well that’s why I mentioned Marvel vs capcom x-men vs sf because they only meshed well after we have seen them.  The same will happen for this game over time like any cross-over and this is how it usually always is.

          • Elvick

But, we have seen the game? :/ Therefore know if they do or don’t mesh. And they don’t to me. You can disagree, but there’s nothing to argue about. We have different opinions.

    • Nemesis_Dawn

A bunch of nobodies. Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. There’s maybe…three characters that might fall in that category. Everybody else is from some pretty high profile stuff. And even if I’m not a fan of Smash Brothers type games, I think they did a pretty good job of integrating the characters the way they did.

      • raymk

Don’t mind him, he’s probably never going to come back and reply.

    • anthony apduhan

You only say that just because you are impatient to wait for Crash from this game…

  • :o!!!! Kat!!!!! Ugh… this almost makes me wanna buy this game…

  • Safros9

That last paragraph might need a rewrite, it’s worded weirdly. Some people in the comments section seem to think that the characters are only “free” for the first two weeks, as if to test them before official release, when in reality the characters are completely free so long as you download them in the first two weeks that they are available. Anyone who does not download the characters in those first two weeks will have to pay for them…

  • sherimae1324

KAT 4 LIFE!!!!! ^_^ now waiting a Sequel for her game….

  • ShawnOtakuSomething

sso now  Kratos  can beat her up?

  • well guess I’m buying this now.

  • Masengan

People keep saying the game is full of nobodies… Maybe for now, but who knows if this game will make those characters popular. When I played Smash Bros. Melee for the first time I had no idea who Roy, Marth, Ness, Captain Falco or Mr. Game and Watch were, hell even the Star Fox people were new to me but now after liking the game and searching where these people came from they have become favorites. The same might happen with these ‘nobodies’ or not.

    • Göran Isacson

True, but only on a personal level. That is to say, Star Fox and Fire Emblem were series with a strong presence and fanbase even if YOU were ignorant of them. Many of these games, not that much. So it’s not quite the same thing.

      • Masengan

Ok, still it’s hard to compete with Nintendo when it comes to recognizable mascots. They pretty much saved video games back in the day. Still I love the Smash series and will be giving this one a chance.

        • Göran Isacson

Mmm, I do believe it does deserve a chance. I just think that characters like Fat Princess, Emmet Brown, Radec (Jorhan Sthral is the only character in Killzone I find remotely entertaining), Toro and Big Daddy don’t really have that much personality to them. There’s, you know, not that much to really get attached to, they’re just there, even in their own games. At least most of Smash Bros roster, discounting Game&Watch and ROB, could carry a game on their own force of personality. Some of these guys, not so much.

      • Elvick

That’s your opinion toward those franchises. YOU may not feel that these series have a strong presence, but… I believe you can see where I’m going with this.

Sad that you took a good argument and threw it out the window to push your own personal views of something. Which clearly undermines your argument. If you can’t even stick to it, then you can’t hold someone else to it.

        • Göran Isacson

Which franchises? Fire Emblem and Star Fox? Because those did have a fanbase before Smash Bros, I don’t think I’m wrong in stating that.

If this is about my statements on Emmet and Starhawk in the statement above, I have, again, played the game. I have analyzed it. I have reviewed it. There isn’t much character to Emmet Brown at all to get attached to- there may be a fanbase but I don’t know if it’s a big one, because my experiences in playing it online were mostly me roaming around empty stages.

I think that in the end, there are certainly characters who can get a push from this game and which do deserve it, since they are sincerely charming characters. Parappa, Daniel Fortesque, Kat… but Radec, Emmet Brown, Fat Princess, Toro, there really isn’t much to them what so ever, even if you play their games. That is why I said what I said. I don’t think I’m wrong in stating that Smash Bros has more starpower in it’s cast, than Playstation All Stars has.

          • Elvick

Just because YOU were ignorant of (or just don’t care for) these PlayStation franchises, doesn’t mean they don’t have loyal fanbases.

            I’m pointing out your hypocrisy.

      • Nemesis_Dawn

But on the other hand, I know people who don’t play videogames who know who Kratos and Drake and Parappa and even Raiden are. If there was old school Dante, they’d even recognize him.

I think it really just comes down to a lot of Nintendo fans who don’t play anything but Nintendo games making a lot of noise here.

        • Göran Isacson

I suppose I should have prefaced my argument with “of course there are characters who are famous”, because only an idiot would say that Kratos, Drake, Metal Gear Solid and Ratchet and Clank are unknown nobodies. But some of these guys really don’t have much character in the first place, like Emmet, Radec, Fat Princess (I would have almost preferred the King in that case)… there’s not even that much to really hype up or display about them.

It’s not all bad, I will give them credit for Daniel Fortesque and Kat, those guys are the
kind of obscure characters with actual character
which could use a push or two. But I just haven’t seen as much
potential starpower in this game as there is in Smash
Bros. In Melee, the closest character that comes to “just sorta there” were the Ice Climbers and Game&Watch. There were several gameplay clones, that I admit, but most of the characters present in that game were big presences in their own right, stars of their own stories or at least big supporting players.

Then again, in the end it might also be because they seem to have been torn between wanting to use this as a promotional vehicle for the latest hotness, and wanting to pay tribute to history. Smash Bros went pretty much all in for the “tribute” path (with the exception of the Pokemon, even I can’t defend the abundance of them in the games) and that just resonates with me a lot more than character choices that feel as if they’re there for the PR, more than anything.

  • Learii

so they be out next year not when the game out?

  • Eilanzer

    Kat!!! *o*

  • Göran Isacson

On the one hand- OH YEAH, KAT IN THE HOUSE.

On the other hand, Emmet? Like… dude, way to pick the most DULL character! Seriously, his villain brother, his cockney sidekick, ANYONE would have made for a more entertaining character than Emmet…

Yeah, I’m one of the few who actually played this game. And I can admit that I see where they’re coming from because Emmet’s way of calling down support buildings and possibly summoning his help-mech/plane, well, THAT could make for a funny gameplay mechanic… but still, this is NOT an interesting character in any way, shape or form. Trust me on that. Though I guess he helps the game be more ethnically diverse, so there’s that I guess…

    • Elvick

Gameplay is part of what makes characters interesting. That’s what makes characters in games different from characters in books, films, etc.

And Starhawk’s gameplay ideas molded into a brawler is extremely interesting.

Just say you don’t like him. That would be more accurate. Solves that problem.

      • Göran Isacson

Well, yes. I do not like him, I think that’d be obvious from what I’ve written. And as I say, it could make for an interesting gameplay mechanic. But from the getgo this game has had a little problem of pushing promotional characters instead of “classical” characters, new Raiden instead of old Snake, despite Snake having a much larger fanbase. Emmet just feels like he’s there to bring attention to Starhawk, and it was at best a decent game. It’s just like… I don’t think “Playstation” when I think Emmet Brown, you know? I don’t think anything at all- he has no history. He doesn’t exactly set the world on fire, and from what I’ve played of this game in demos, I don’t really know how much interesting stuff he really has room to do. Call down extra vehicles? Bunkers with weapons? Walls to take cover behind? There are characters who approximate that kind of gameplay in the game already and which DO have big fanbases and great presence, such as Parappa, Ratchet and Nathan Drake. I just can’t help but to feel he’s kinda obsolete before he’s even entered.

        • Elvick

Blame third parties for not taking the hit and doing honor to PlayStation and being more concerned with advertising. Blame Superbot/Sony for not having balls to just say no to their demands.

They have control over their characters and how it/they appear in the game.

I don’t think “Nintendo” when I see Ness either. I had no idea who the hell that was when SSB came out. Doesn’t mean he shouldn’t be there, just because *I* didn’t know who he was. (and I know I’m not the only one who didn’t know who he was)

PlayStation is about it’s entire IP history and the fact that they CONTINUE to create new IPs.

Starhawk is still related to Warhawk, which was originally on the PSone. So accept it. There are many things that I feel are lame about this game, but including some of the lesser known newer characters is not one of them.

          • raymk

I actually have to agree with you here though.

          • Göran Isacson

I suppose we’re going to have to agree to disagree. I do feel that some of these characters are utterly soulless and lack every form of appeal, and that their inclusion is hurting the title in my eyes. And as far as “Blame third parties for not taking the hit and Superbot/Sony for not having the balls to say no”… isn’t that what I’m already doing? They are the ones who made these decisions, and I am criticizing these decisions. Doesn’t it mean that I automatically criticize them?

Ok, so that adds 2 to my list of characters to play :D
Sly, The Coles, Nariko, Big Daddy, Sackboy, Toro, Spike, Drake, Kat and Emmet
Im gonna be busy even without them in yet XD

  • Bradkal

On one hand that makes 2 characters I want to play as on the other hand, This game is ment to be a game full of cool characters but I only like toro and Kat so its not worth the price…

  • Elvick

Still not enough for me, and I fail to see why they weren’t in the game to begin with. I’m sure I’ll feel that way for the first few sets of character DLC though.

    • Safros9

They’re going to be available next year so they obviously still have a ways to go until they’re ready for the public, or would you rather they delay the game again for 2 characters? Also, they’re free.

      • SerendipityX

I’m pretty sure it has more or less to do with the roster number being rather low. Only 20 characters? Adding Kat and Emmett makes it 22, and unless there was some kind of issue its seems strange that they’re not already in the game.

        • Safros9

I imagine Kat was a character that they didn’t really consider until the fans went really vocal about her, have no idea where Emmet came from. I agree that the roster count is low, but I’d rather the game release now with free DLC later than to delay it another month or 2.

          • SerendipityX

This game is giving me mixed feelings overall. Its fun to play no doubt but character choices/art style just seem kind of wonky and all over the place. (Big Daddy in particular was a big WTF moment for me.) I was going to buy it but it sorta fell off my radar. Maybe I’ll pick it up when they announce more characters?

On a side note when Big Daddy was announced, I thought maybe the impossible might happen and Blinx the Time Sweeper would make a debut. Then I remembered that this is Sony, not Microsoft. Thats how left-field I felt some of the choices were. XD

        • raymk

How is it strange in anyway?  Its strange that the game has a deadline and they can’t delay the game anymore to make them available?

      • Elvick

Actually, I would rather the game having been delayed. Sly 4 is done. It’s been done. It could have released, so that this game, one that was still in development, could have used that time to actually add in more content for release. Instead of releasing it all as DLC later.

Even if it’ll be free for the first two weeks on the store.

        • raymk

I would rather the game had benn delayed as well but companies don’t have an infinite budget to just push games back. Sony has already fired a lot of their teams because of money issues so I don’t think they can afford to push this back.  In fact it would have helped them more to push this back so it wouldn’t collide with COD and other big title games and the wiiU as well.  That said pushing the game back wouldn’t guarantee anything anyway in terms of content as even that still matters by what the budget looks like.  You know unless you think making games are free or something?

    • raymk

I guess you fail to see a lot of things then.  Games have budgets and when it comes to fan-service games its tricky when it comes to characters.  Also you need to learn how businesses work because for good or bad there’s a reason.  Here I just think you are complaining just to be complaining.

      • Elvick

        Someone’s mad.

  • Tianyu Wei

    OK. I AM SOLD.

  • Tianyu Wei

pretty sure a lot of char was planned. but being a fighting game require a lot of balance, and they decided to prioritize the ones that are in the release.

  • Yes! The more Gravity Rush, the better. >:3

  • Lester Paredes

YES! After Ratchet, Kat will be the character for me!
