Laharl is King of the Netherworld, but demons in Disgaea Dimension 2 don’t respect his authority. The King Krichevskoy faction says Laharl isn’t fit to be king. They want to kick him off the throne and replace him with a new king that lives up to Krichevskoy’s legacy.
Grosso (left)is the leader of the King Krichevskoy faction. Galungun (center) the destroyer and Rainier (right) a close associate of the late King Krichevskoy and Laharl’s babysitter when he was a kid.
Barbara, the Krichevskoy faction believes, could be a candidate for the Netherworld throne. She excels in battle especially with a spear. Being born in a knight house, she is known for being loyal to a fault. Barbara doesn’t even think for herself and has to wait for orders before making a move. If she becomes queen of the Netherworld, Barbara will thinks she will be able to do whatever she pleases.
Xenolith is a mysterious demon that tends to push others away with his quiet and introverted personality. Laharl meets him while the two characters are on the Yuwie flower fields.
The netherworld has a big problem in Disgaea Dimension 2 celestial flowers are blooming.
Fields of Yuwie flowers are bringing *gasp* fresh air to the Netherworld! The flowers are rapidly spreading and changing the atmosphere something like Heaven. This catastrophe couldn’t come at a worse time for Laharl who is struggling to maintain his leadership. Grosso says this is an act of aggression from the angels and since Laharl let this happen he should be dethroned.
What is happening to the Netherworld? Where do these flowers come from? Is this some kind of crazy 7th Dragon 2020 crossover? (We’re kidding about that last one.) Laharl, desperate to calm the masses, decides to settle this problem by using force, but is this really how he feels?
Find out on March 20 when Disgaea Dimension 2 comes out for PlayStation 3.
