Players will select their characters to form a team to send on missions. The characters will learn skills as they level up. With over 500 active and passive skills available, players can make their own unique characters to send to the battle field.

The characters will also have a class system known as “Styles”. There are a total of 11 Styles, from Knights and White Mages to Jesters and Alchemists. Each Style has their own unique skill and costumes.

The story of the anime was confusing, but the females uniforms hug them in the right places.http://jrafanan.files.wordpress.com/2011/10/kyounohorizon01-19.jpg

      You have to remember:
It’s directly in the middle of a huuuuuuuuuge series of books.
      Like, huuuuuuuuuuge.
Longer than Lord of the Rings + The Hobbit put together.

“Light novels” my rear. More like, HEAVY novels.

      • ShawnOtakuSomething

I know,, I been slowing reading them.

      • TatsuyaKyo

Th-They’re THAT long? How many volumes does it currently have anyway?

        • I think it’s around 11 volumes as of now.
And to give you a good idea of how huge they are, look at the books on the right

          • D H

Each volume is around 300+ pages at minimum. However, book 1 is split into 2 volumes; book 2 2 volumes, book 3 3 volumes, book 4 3 volumes. and book 5 2 volumes. So you’re looking at at least 3600 pages at this point, and pretty much the main reason it’ll never get officially translated (as most companies pay for novel translations by page…)

      • neocatzon

is it good? I’m considering to read it, but the anime kinda turn off cause how confusing it is.

        • Duo Maxwell

It’s good, but it’s not your average Light Novel. Kinda require a fair amount of knowledge from his previous works, so I’d suggest you just watch the anime and read this site for any question you have. It’s less time consuming and easier to understand, since Kawakami’s writing is kinda odd sometimes.

Truth be told, it’s not that confusing when you have the base knowledge about the world, since the main plot is fairly simple “Fight the world to get the girl”.

          • neocatzon

I tried the LN and now I understand. It’s a heavy novel indeed XD. Have to agree with you, the most reasonable way to consume this is from the anime+glossary. The LN is pretty masochistic to read, it’s harder to play the scene in head than LOTR. Though I’ll read it slowly while in queue.

A Must buy. This franchise is perfect.

    Breasts, assemble!

      Boobies, roll out!

Horizon in the middle of bossom.

Seriously, I know it’s nothing but drawings but I have to wonder about the back problems most anime characters must suffer.

  • darkonezero

Since the first season, the setting seemed like a pretty good fit for a game with a lot of character customization.

  • Theofratus ‘Geese’ Lester

The power of breasts compelled me!

  • Suicunesol

    Never heard of this anime…

…but I think I’m going to watch it now.

    Those uniforms…

    I… cannot resist.

      I’m not joking.

At the sidebar, the glossary is very helpful, you might want to read the QA after watching an episode, some things make a lot more sense afterwards, not everything is necessary.

  • Why do all these things only come out for the PSP? Vita, come on!

    • d19xx

The vita can play PSP games, it’s a smart choice..

      • You’ve got a point. But it could be shinier!

Well, it’s more that at least on Europe we get to always hear about them having to make the changes from PSP to Vita, aside from NA legible games not always making it to Europe for months, PSP games often take many more months to get “approved” to download on the Vita :(

Then again, this anime is so niche, I doubt we’ll get it.

  • So… does anyone know the anime cover until which volume of the novels? I doubt 2o+ eps anime can cover all those massive pages.. Or did they decide to go for an original ending?
