Dragon’s Crown Will Roar At Japan This July

Vanillaware and Atlus’s upcoming title, Dragon’s Crown, will be released for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita on July 25th, according to a report in Famitsu magazine.

No further details have been leaked about the game from the magazine yet, but we’ll keep our eyes peeled for more information.

I wonder if Amazon’s August 6 release date for the game is true. It’d be really nice if it were true.

    That would be remarkably close for localization. Not surprising since this has been in development for so long and was announced for the west ages ago, but nice if they manage to pull it off that close to Japanese release.

      I think they had the script long enough that the development of the game itself became the bottleneck.

  Tales of Xillia (and Tales games in general) and this game were also some of the main reasons I got a ps3 again. Can’t friggin wait for both games now.

    It’s funny. I bought my PS3 for Final Fantasy Versus XIII but Square hasn’t delivered. On the flip side, Bamdai has been doing great things for the Tales series on PS3. With that, I too am excited for Xillia.

      I’m actually on my second ps3. Sold my previous one to get another xbox, since I had way more games for it and mine had 3RL. Xillia was one of the main reasons I got another one, since I’m dying to play it.

  This game and Capcom’s digital release of Dungeons and Dragons arcade games are surely going to give us that beat-em-up fix.

    If you don’t mind a beat-em-up being 3D, you could also have a look at “Senran Kagura: Shinobi Versus”.

      I’m more into 2D beat-em-ups but there are some 3D beat-em-ups I enjoyed like Spawn: In Demon’s Hand in the arcades and recently, Anarchy Reigns.
      
      I read that Senran Kagura in Vita is really good so I may check it soon, though I much prefer if it had an English version. I would also like to get the latest Fist of the North Star game someday.
