      • http://epiclyamazing.wordpress.com/ AzureNova

        Awesome lol =)

  • MrSirFeatherFang

Does that not include HD ports? I would like to play that Zodiac version of FFXII

    • artemisthemp

It’s more profitable for Square Enix to make HD Port of FFXII on PS4 and use Direct X11 to port the shit to TV BOX

  • Maumac77

Lol so PS3 ended up only being for the XIII story? Well I’ve enjoyed them regardless so it’s totally fine for me

    • Anime10121

      and XIV

      • Maumac77

Oh that’s right. Most likely be getting it for my PC though, though I will try out both. Thanks for reminding me!

    • eilegz

the thing its we all waited so long and for me the reason to get the ps3 was versus now they pull out this thing and going multiplatform seems to be a disservice for a fan like me…. im so salty and mad

      • Maumac77

I don’t see the problem with Multi-Platform. You get to play it regardless and what’s wrong with letting others enjoy it? Kingdom Hearts however is a whole different mattre, as those on the Xbox One are diving into the end without playing through the first two

        • eilegz

i dont mind multiplatform, what i do mind its that the game gets downgraded and affects the quality of the whole game overall, it happened in XIII and XIII-2

          • SerendipityX

What? the quality Xiii suffered b/c of the cost/ SE not really understanding HD consoles. And those games are being ported to Xbox One.

          • eilegz

multiplatform affected the development, content have to be cut, the first XIII screenshot got downgraded later when they anounced the multiplatform. there its a picture somewhere google it.

in XIII-2 the graphics its worse than XIII, when you compare it the ps3 and x360 its equal sure multiplatform there its parity but the one got screw its ps3 owners in the end having a less quality game and downgrades in every single aspects.

Now FF XV and ps4 being the console with higher specs should be better than xone, but if the based on the xone specs to develop XV that means that the game true potential wont be reached.

          • Testsubject909

            True brute strength graphical potential.

Honestly I don’t care about it’s brute graphical strength potential. I’m more interested in the design where the real beauty lies.

And the gameplay, where the real engagement begins… And the story.

So anything except “How much is it going to push the system’s graphical prowess” bit.

Oh and XIII was a mess because of internal disputes, the team not knowing exactly what they wanted the game to be even after they had released a playable demo to the public and a team that some would estimate as being rather new to Final Fantasy and lacking insight on some of the details and intricacies that would give the game those little touches that would indeed make a Final Fantasy game. There’s also the complain that, paraphrasing here, they didn’t put any town in because they couldn’t figure out how to make towns visually interesting….

No matter how I see it. FFXIII to me is a mess.

          • Maumac77

True but isn’t that graphical prowess identical between PS4 and Xbax One? That was my main reasoning behind not worrying about it…..but if that’s untrue

  • KingGunblader

Seems appropriate (and highly necessary) that the XIII trilogy be confined to this gen. This game and Symphonia HD will be ensuring that I hold on to my PS3 well into next year.

    • Anime10121

Never getting rid of my PS3, as I’ve kept my PS2 (and would have kept my Psone had they not been playable on 2 or 3).

  • eilegz

so what happened with versus they dropped the ps3 version? so sad

  • Anime10121

Makes sense, we did get 5 Final Fantasies this gen (if you count the XIII sequels and the XI port on 360), so fair enough.

  • Skode

I can respect that… looking at the level of graphics in FFXV made me more or less know this was a given anyway.

  • João Santos

Er… now I’m confused. Siliconera makes this news post, and yet I see this http://puu.sh/3dAjT.png on Playstation’s Twitter.

Not in the series? kill it KILL IT

  • Kevin Schwarz

    Good. Good.
