DreadOut, The Horror Game Inspired By Fatal Frame, Is Funded

Remember DreadOut, the indie horror game inspired by Fatal Frame? We reported on it last month, providing a brief introduction to the game and a link to a playable demo that one could try out.

 

DreadOut has achieved two things since we last talked about it—first, it’s managed to achieve (and exceed) its crowdfunding goal, which means that the developers should now have a little less to worry about in the finance department.

 

Second, it’s managed to get enough votes on Steam Greenlight, which will ensure that the game is available on Steam once it’s eventually released.

 

While DreadOut has no release date yet, its developers, Digital Happiness, hope to have the game out by November 2013. In the meantime, here are a few screens:
