By Sato . July 15, 2013 . 3:55pm

As part of the evolution, they’ll also be remaking past songs for the upcoming game. These will be chosen from a list of popular songs voted on by fans.

In addition, Sega would also like to remind fans that this list wasn’t a vote for the most popular songs, but rather taht the original poll asked fans which song they’d like to see remade the most.

Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F 2nd is slated for release in Spring of 2014 for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.

    There is a typo “taht”
And i wonder how remade Clover Club would be

  • tubers

Awww.. Packaged on the last. I really liked that xD

  • Karmistral

At certain points, i couldn’t understand what some of the songs were because i knew them by their japanese names. This is so interesting <3 Can't wait

  • Shao

Use romanized names instead of translations please. No one knows Sekiranun Graffiti as Cumulonimbus Cloud Graffiti, and neither Miku Miku ni Shite Ageru as I’ll Make You Miku Miku’ed, and I can say this to many songs listed in there.

    • I don’t recognize any of those

    • Karmistral

      Totally applies to:

Look This Way Baby -> Kocchi Muite Baby
Although Songs Have No Form -> Uta ni Katachi wa nai keredo
Rain of Cherry Blossoms -> Sakura no Ame

But When First Love Ends and Love is War is interchangeably known

    • konsama

Haha i thought the exact same when i read the list.

Not a hardcore follower of miku games, but there’s many i’d love to play again from that list.

  • Don

was smiling ear to ear then i read “it has not been confirmed as to how many of the above 39 songs will actually be remade for Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F 2nd, but the development team will be making an announcement in the near future.”

  • MasterScrub

PLEASE let Cantarella and Meltdown get remade, I love those songs. (Romeo and Cinderella is my favorite, but that’s already been confirmed.)

  • Josephl64

of course 1925 gets skipped again, but it’s cool that so many others I like made it on this list…hopefully the majority of them make it in

  • This is great to hear! Considering all the positive word we’ve heard from Crypton thus far about Hatsune Miku in general, it looks like things will only continue to grow ever larger, and hopefully also improve in the process.

Also this could be wishful thinking, but considering this will be a Spring release (similar to Project Diva-F on the PS3). We could potentially see an Autumn release for Project Diva-F 2nd in the west. However this is complete guess work based upon the assumption PD-F sells well for western audiences.

Keep it up Sega / Crypton! We really do appreciate your efforts!

  • Aristides

;_; what about “hello world” lol

  • Brandonmkii

Aw, packaged is way at the bottom. Such a good song, but it had such an awful visual in the game.

  • TheExile285

I was playing the demo for the first game on my PS3 earlier today.

    These games are hard, lol

    • Curan_Altea

Maybe you’re just bad at them :P

      • TheExile285

Never said I wasn’t. Are YOU good at them?

        • Curan_Altea

Yeah, I’m not bad actually. Even have a few perfects on Extreme.

          • As in a few Excellent on Extreme? By the gods. You are not bad you are pro. I don’t think I’ve even been able to finish a song in Extreme. I can get Great and even Excellent in some songs on Hard but nothing else.

          • Curan_Altea

I only have perfects on a few songs on extreme. I passed most of the songs with an excellent on Extreme. It just takes a lot of practice.
I’m bad at every other rhythm game.

          • Ditto Curan. I can blaze PD-F, but as soon as you pass me over the likes of DJMAX, I just want to curl up in a ball, and hug my fingers while they’re still functional…

          • Antixono

This guy on youtube,I forgot his name, did all the songs on project diva F for vita on extreme and got perfects.WTF.I can barely get excellant on normal lol.Hopefully I’ll get better.

    • psycho_bandaid

Just takes a little practice. A song seems impossible sometime, but after a few attempt you usually have a breakthrough of sorts.

    • It takes a fair amount of practice. PDF on vita was the first miku game I picked up. Took me a while but I can do Good to Excellent on a majority of the Extremes.

When I started though I could barely make it through a normal. Don’t listen to the “Maybe you’re just bad at them” comment. Some people forget the practice they have to put in at the beginning.

    • These games take a lot of practice to improve. Before I could only pass the songs on Easy. Normal was really hard for me. Now I’m all the way to hard even getting Excellent. But Extreme is still impossible for me.

  • Bear Negishi

    omg :V V: why’d you change the names V: V: :V :V V:

  • xXDGFXx

I want Heart Shooter in this D:

  • Lehiko

Luka Luka * Night Fever, Just Be Friends, Melt, In The End Solitude, Electric Angle, I’ll Make You Miku Miku’ed, SPiCa, remake those sega kthxbye.

  • Mrgrgr and Unacceptable World

I am Melting Down waiting for this game,.^_^

  • nano_desu

I’d love to play Palette again, one of the best Extend songs.

  • Raze

    Hmm…Too many…

But If I have to choose…

Maybe SPiCa – 39’s Giving Day Edition, Marginal, and Magnet…

It’s a shame though there are no Strobo Night or Palette…

  • xzeldax3

    Yes, rolllliiiinnngggg girrrrllllllll!!!!

  • Light Soul

I’d love to see Ai Kotoba (Love Words) and World is Mine get included in this game.

  • Malon

“Yellow” was my favourite one in PD2nd. If it is in PDF2nd… INSTANT BUY !
