Tecmo Koei’s hack and slash game Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate has a guest from the Soulcalibur series. Sophitia Alexandra will join characters from Dynasty Warriors, Samurai Warriors, Ninja Gaiden, and the Atelier series. Her character model is based on her appearance in Soulcalibur IV.

Her alternate should be her SC2 outfit.

  • Skode

Didnt think they were gonna go with non-owned IP characters but now they have the potential is endless… Kenshiro would be a good and very obvious start.

this game keeps getting better and better each updates ^_^

  • I wonder if this will be a patch since I already own the original Orochi 3

    • Gene Bowen

It’s a separate game, but save data from the original PS3 release is compatible with both the PS3 and PSVita versions of Ultimate.

If they can have Monkey D. Luffy, this game will sell a lot more.
    oh… and please localize it.

    • TheExile285

      Oh god…Luffy… would be AWESOME!

  • FitzpatrickPhillips

Dat delicious random piece of cloth as an o utfit.

  • Bakuryukun

I’d personally like a full on Soul Calibur Warriors game, it could be really interesting, it’s cast would be quite a bit smaller than a lot of other Warriors games which would mean you could really focus on making each character work very differently.

    I’d buy it.

You wouldn’t be the only one, I’m sure.

In fact, part of me wouldn’t be surprised if “Lost Swords” is indeed some type of Koei-made Musou spin off. Considering that Bamco and Koei aren’t at all strangers when it comes to collaborating in this way (see: Gundam and One Piece’s Musou games)? It’d be just the thing I could see them doing as a way of holding fans over along with SC2HD, while ideally giving Project Soul all the time they need to make a definitive (and more content-rich) “SC6”.

      • Dhruv Rajyagor

Hopefully. Namco didn’t give Project Soul much time to make SCV; only a year.

If Lost Swords is a Koei-like spin off, then I hope it’s better than Legends (Never played it, but from info gathering, I heard it sucked).

If it’s a fighting game not in the main series (portable), then I hope it adds character favortes absent from SCV, mine being Talim and Zasalamel.

Wasn’t there a similar game known as Soul Calibur Legends?

Anyway, if there was an SC6 game with Lu Bu in it, I would buy both this and that. :D

      • Bakuryukun

but I can’t play as Seong Mina in Legends :<

I wonder if we get some story that we wouldn’t elsewhere, or that hint to it.

These guests are really starting to branch out. I expect to see Luigi and Zero from megaman next

  • Altin

Hot Damn…I am getting more and more trouble as to which Team I should play with once I get my hands on this T__T

  • Shirogane Takeru

still waiting to see what kind of badass musou Sterk will have

  • Norbert Gespenst

It’s scary but now I think it’s a threat to many people’s wallets

  • Okay, who is this Nata kid? “Nata” is a version of Nezha’s name so all searching is bringing me to articles about Nezha, who is already in the game so it is obviously not him. I need halp ;_;

    • Ixbran

WO3U includes two new chapters, one as a prequel to the first game and one as a sequel to what happens after the death of the hydra.

the prequel story features Nezha before his death, and subsequent cyborg resurrection that is seen in WO3.

so we have two Nezhas, one that’s pre-death, and one that’s post-death.

      • Ah, now it makes sense, thank you :)
