Legend Of Heroes For PS3 And Vita Supports Cross Saves And Cross DLC

image Falcom is making Legend of the Heroes: Trails in the Flash for PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 3. While the game doesn’t support Cross Buy (meaning you get the Vita and PS3 versions for one price), one DLC purchase will work with both versions of the game. So, you only need to purchase DLC once and even the product code included with launch copies will unlock content on PS3 and Vita as long as you’re using the same Sony Entertainment Network account.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Flash also supports Cross Save. This means you can start playing Trails in the Flash on your PS3 and continue the game on your lunch break using Vita. Trophy data is also shared between the two versions.

What’s different? Content-wise, Falcom says Trails in the Flash will be the same game on PS3 and Vita. The only difference is the Vita release has certain parts where you control the game using the touch screen.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Flash comes out on September 26 in Japan.

I am sorry if i am rude but this is very old news(cross save part) since this was revealed months ago.

    • cool

    • Duc PC-QB

I dont remember anything about cross DLC

  • Zeonsilt

*And the graphics on the PS3 is a little better*.
If this will not be localized,it will be a pain to play an [J].version, though,it will not stop me.

    • VitaminC

I would like to see the rest of the Sora no Kiseki games localized before any of the other Kiseki games get the treatment…

      • Zeonsilt

I would like too(especially new Vita versions of Zero),but if they’l go with right order…we’l get Trails in the Flash in the end of 2020~ or later.

  • HassanJamal

2 crosses down. If they confirm cross buy, that’d be grand.

  • lorelai4cuties

this game looks nice reminds me of Type 0 ..i hope it comes to US

  • TheExile285

    Love the boxart.

I’m not impressed. It looks like it was put together by a marketing department intern in one afternoon. There can’t be any other reason for putting Fie in the foreground like that, unless she’s secretly a more important main character than the other two there. Looks sloppy, too.

Whatever happened to putting a nice piece of artwork on the cover, like Falcom used to do? Potpourris of characters and a random background, like this one and the Ys Celceta cover, aren’t nice to look at.

Should I import this game now? If I manage to learn the language in two years I’ll have something to play. Cuz’ even if this is localized it won’t come for quite a while. And the reason I ask to get it now is that I heard that some older Japanese games are harder to get. And I really want this one. ^^

    • DesmaX

Why not wait for a price-drop, at least?

      Japanese games are pretty expensive

      • Kevadu

Price drops don’t always affect import shops. It’s a niche enough market that they’re just as likely to stop stocking a title entirely.

        • DesmaX

Oh well, at least Play-Asia always have new deals every week, not counting their daily deals. Probably that would be available there someday.

          • Crimson_Cloud

Thanks for the answer. Yeah, the titles are quite expensive and I often buy from play-asia. It’s just that some of the older titles have a ”out of stock” labeled forever. Still, it’s a new game so I doubt it will go go out entirely. :)

  • Cool. Now the question is, does it support localization? lol

  • leingod

The previous games got localized, right? Hope that doesn’t change with this one… since it looks great. I could really use a new RPG on the Vita.

    • DesmaX

      Only the first one was

This one is the sixty, I believe

      • leingod

I remember seeing at least three PSP games in the series in english, but dunno how many are out there :P

        • DesmaX

Nah, with exception of Trails in the Sky, the other ones are before the Kiseki series.

They’re fun, but nowhere near as good as these ones… And it have the worst localization ever

          • leingod

oh well, whatever the case, hope this one gets localized. I’d seriously love to play this on the go.
