Sengoku Sugoroku Is Like Samurai Warriors Mixed With Monopoly

By Spencer . October 22, 2013 . 12:34am

One of the interesting additions in Samurai Warriors 2 was the sugoroku board game mode. Essentially, this was Monopoly or perhaps a more apt comparison is Fortune Street. Players roll a dice and move around a board to collect flags or purchase land. If another player lands on a square you own they can pay you or initiate a challenge like defeat as many enemies as you can within a time limit  or smash through doors in a race.

The sugoroku mini-game is included in Samurai Warriors 2 HD which comes out in Japan this Thursday.

The original Samurai Warriors 2 actually. I remember playing it for hours with my brothers.

Well, the article doesn’t say that it’s an addition to the HD collection. But it was an addition to the original release of Samurai Warriors 2.
