dcuniverse In addition to Knack, Killzone: Shadow Fall, and Rezogun, PlayStation 4 owners will also be able to play DC Universe Online.

Speaking with Bloomberg TV, Sony Online Entertainment president John Smedley said, "As part of Sony, we are actually helping with the Sony PlayStation 4 launch on November 15 by having our free to play game, DC Universe Online, come to the PlayStation 4 for its launch and we’re going to be following that up early next year with Planetside 2."

DC Universe is also out for PC and PlayStation 3.

You don’t need to ADD it since we’ve known about this for months now O_o

    • Pdugna

well actually they could add it because we thought PS2 would be here for launch….see how that is >.>

Yeah, but DCUO has been confirmed for months now, though. It’s been playable on PS4 at a bunch of events, too.

I’d love to see some PS4 gameplay footage

  • passthegrenadeplease

Sweet, more free games that I’m probably going to play.

DC Universe Online is still going on? I thought it died.

Probably full of Terrible Micro transactions like SW:TOR

    • Nah. Quite the opposite. The Cash shop lacks good content, aside from the Expansion Packs and Legends Characters, but the store inventory itself is reeeeaaally small after all these past couple of years. In other words, Microtransactions are hardly the issue with this game.

I played the hell out of the game when it came out. I tried playing it again but it’s kind of boring now. There’s still a ton of people who play online.

What killed the game for me is the cash limit if you’re not a subscriber. You’re only allowed to have up to 2k cash. This really limits you later on. Especially if you want to raid. If I have to constantly worry about micromanaging my cash due to F2P restrictions the game becomes a lot less appealing.

If it weren’t for that I’d play it and spend a fair amount of money on it buying expansions, character slots, etc. However because of it I dropped the game without spending a dime on it. Cash limits are a HUGE red flag in free to play games.

do I want to start over or can I carry my ps3 data to ps4 version

    • InfectedAI

I highly doubt it wouldn’t carry over.
